Job summary
Are you an inspiring outdoor educator with a passion for nature-based learning? We are seeking an enthusiastic Level 3 Qualified Forest School Leader to join our experienced and supportive team, delivering exceptional outdoor learning experiences for children of all ages.
You will use your creativity, imagination, and love of the outdoors to plan and deliver engaging, meaningful Forest School sessions that spark curiosity, confidence, and wellbeing. Sessions may be delivered independently or collaboratively and will include a varied programme such as:
- Acorn nursery sessions
- Holiday club provision
- External nursery and school sessions
- Family and parent–toddler groups
- Home-educated groups
- Bushcraft sessions
- Sessions supporting children with Special Educational Needs
This is a long-term role, ideally 35 hours per week, with flexible
working hours that adapt to seasonal demand. A significant portion of
work will take place during school holiday periods.
Occasional
weekend work is required (typically no more than one day per month),
usually for family sessions or birthday parties.
Sessions take place across Milton Keynes, Northamptonshire, and Bedfordshire, so a full UK driving licence is essential.

The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Level 3 Forest School qualification (essential)
- Be passionate, motivated, and enthusiastic about outdoor learning in all weathers
- Be creative, adaptable, and confident in thinking on their feet
- Have a strong working knowledge of the EYFS, Forest School ethos, and safeguarding procedures
- Share our commitment to child-centred, inclusive practice
