Nursery Chef – Funky Owls Nursery

Salary: £33,600 (depending on experience)

Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

Location: Colliers Wood, South West London (SW19 2HR)

Do you love creating healthy, delicious meals that make a difference? Funky Owls Nursery, a vibrant and independently owned day nursery, is looking for a passionate Nursery Chef to take charge of our kitchen and fuel the future with nutritious food.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the day-to-day running of our kitchen for a 68-place nursery.
• Plan and prepare balanced, child-friendly menus that inspire healthy eating habits.
• Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene and safety and completing all paperwork to a high standard.

This is more than just cooking—it’s about shaping the wellbeing of children through food.

What We’re Looking For

• A committed, hard-working chef with a genuine passion for children’s health.
• Experience in a children's nursery
• Knowledge on allergens and weaning process
• knowledge on what under 1 year olds cant eat

Essential qualifications:

• Level 3 Food Hygiene
• Paediatric First Aid
