Job summary

We are seeking an Early Years Executive Lead to successfully lead the nursery and support the whole company towards its Mission, Vision and Values and strategic business planning.

This is not just a Nursery Managers role, but a driving force to initiate exciting developments and raise the profile of both the nursery and the whole company.

The candidate we are looking for will be a compassionate leader who can help train and develop the workforce of today, and shape our leaders of tomorrow. They will provide direct input and ideas into strategic plans, work with the Operations Managers and have a positive impact on change within the company and setting.

This role is Supernumerary

Responsibilities/ Duties:

- To comply with legal requirements and Rosy Apple Childcare Policies and Procedures and work with Operations Manager HR to develop these.

- Ensure the staff team follow and adhere to Policies and Procedures

- Take part in continuous professional development.

- Identify training needs within the nursery in liaison with Operations Manager Education.

- Be an effective communicator.

- Responsible for Health and Safety within the Nursery, as well as auditing and assessing Health and Safety.

- Ensure quality educational programmes are followed and develop curriculum plans.

- Lead the Nursery in providing high standards of provision for children.

- Engage in positive leadership, encouraging staff welfare.

- Safeguarding Lead for the Nursery.

- Positive partnership working with all stakeholders in the Company.

- Lead marketing and business development plans in liaison with the Operations Manager Business Development.

- Liaise with SMT to develop budgets and business plans in line with company development.

- Work in line with statutory framework including legal requirements.

- Deploy staff effectively.

- Promote Equality and Diversity.

- Attend networking events.

- Have a positive impact on local/ national Policies and Procedures.

- Monitor and complete audits on iConnect system.

- Oversee support systems for children with Additional Needs.

- Oversee upkeep of the buildings and maintenance, stock, furnishings and fittings.

- Be responsible for completion of administrative duties.

- Be responsible for collection and recording of fees.

- Use IT software packages as supplied by the company.

- Ensure confidentiality of information received in line with Policies and Procedures.
