Nursery Nurse

Job summary

We are looking for childcare practitioner at our nursery, who are friendly, confident and always willing to go the extra mile.

We can support the successful candidate with undertaking a qualification.

Successful candidates can work between 24 and 30 hours.

• Requirements:

• MINIMUM CCPLD L2 (or equivalent) qualification.
• 1 year experience in an early years setting.
• Flexible and reliable with a “can do, will do” approach to your work – cheerful and enthusiastic.
• Good organisational skills.
• Able to do your job to a high standard with little supervision or intervention from management.
• Friendly and welcoming approach to parents, colleagues and children.

Responsiblities :

Our key responsibilities include ensuring that all children's physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met. We monitor and record their growth accurately. Our team plans engaging activities that align with nursery policies, tailored to each child's age and ability. Lastly, we keep our environment safe and clean while following health, safety, and fire procedures at all times.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.21 per hour (national minimun wages increases in april 2026)
