Job summary

Be part of something bold.

We’re Early Years Studios, a new kind of nursery group redefining what early childhood could look and feel like today.

Our flagship site opens in Spring in a beautiful heritage building in the heart of Leamington Spa, and we’re looking for a passionate, ambitious educator who is looking for a Unit Manager role specialising in Toddlers.

This is not just a job. It’s a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up, to create a provision that sets an incredible standard for early years, and then to grow with us as we open more sites across the region.

If early years is your calling, you believe in doing things differently and want to take your career to the next level, this is  the opportunity.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading our Toddler Studio with calm, nurturing leadership, ensuring routines and learning experiences feel personal, consistent, and safe.
  • Overseeing responsive care: sleep, feeds, and routines tailored to each child, in full partnership with families.
  • Embedding a high-quality early years curriculum for 1–2.5 years, balancing sensory play, movement, attachment, and communication.
  • Building strong partnerships with parents, supporting their child’s very first steps into nursery and ensuring confident transitions to the next stage.
  • Building and inspiring your team through coaching, supervisions, and reflective practice.
  • Driving quality and compliance, ensuring safeguarding and health & safety are embedded in daily practice.
  • Representing your Studio at open days, family events, and with local schools, strengthening our reputation in the community.

*Full  Job Description will be provided.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified and experienced: Level 3 or above in Early Years (Level 6 / EYTS preferred) with SENDCo training and/or experience.
  • Expert knowledge: strong grasp of EYFS, safeguarding, SEND, and compliance.
  • Calm, positive leadership style: able to inspire your team and create consistent, high-quality practice.
  • Warm and responsive: calm, nurturing leadership style that builds trust with both staff and families.
  • Fun and passionate: you bring warmth, personality, and positivity.
  • Growth-minded: you see this as a career, not just a job, and are excited to grow with us as we open more sites across the region.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Therefore the successful applicant will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Disclosure and enrol in the update system. References will be contacted before employment and all suitability checks will be carried out.
