Nursery Practitioner Level 3

Job summary

We are looking for a passionate Nursery Practitioner, who

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Support’s the Canopy Curriculum to ensure a child-centred approach, and ensure the observation and planning process meets the needs of all children.
• Be a key-person for a group of your own key children, and build strong parent partnerships.
• Keeping records up to date on our Famly App, and completing quality observations and assessments.
• Plan and deliver a range of exciting activities and experiences for children.
• To maintain an organised, safe and stimulating room environment.
• Ensure effective supervision of children to ensure they remain safe, and complete ongoing risk assessments, ensuring play and learning experiences are safe and age appropriate.
• Fulfil your roles and responsibilities, and legislation duty in relation to safeguarding children by ensuring you follow safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Have a clear understanding of and adhere to all policies and procedures, and follow legislations from governing bodies.
• Working as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day to day tasks are completed in line with the nursery demands, ie. Hygiene Standards and Room Preparation.
• Implement and maintain the nursery's Equality Policy, ensuring that all children, parents and staff team are valued and included.

Hours:

40 Hours per a week Monday to Friday.

Various shifts depending on nursery needs.

Shifts will be within the hours of 7:15am and 6:45pm.
