Salary: starting from £30.000p/a plus Commissions

About Us: Our Day Nursery is a well-established in local community and provide high-quality childcare for children aged between 3 months and 5 years. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team.

The Deputy Manager will be responsible for supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the delivery of high-quality childcare and managing the staff team.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting the Nursery Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the nursery
• Providing leadership and guidance to the staff team
• Ensuring the delivery of high-quality childcare and maintaining a safe and stimulating environment for the children
• Implementing and monitoring policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring effective communication with parents and carers
• Supporting staff training and development
• Assisting with staff recruitment and induction

Requirements:

• Level 3 childcare qualification or above
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Management role within a childcare setting
• Excellent knowledge of EYFS and regulatory requirements
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support the Nursery Manager
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures
• Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
