Nursery Cook

Job summary

Independent Place Nursery is looking for an outstanding nursery chef to join our small team.

The nursery cares for children ages 3 months to 5 years and we are looking for a nursery chef to cook high quality nutritious food for up to 49 children per day. This position requires a passionate individual for delivering nutritious healthy meals for children to enjoy.

We have the following requirements.

- Prepare and cook nutritious meals from the nursery three week menu

- Ensure food quality and presentation meets high standards

- To complete the weekly food shopping

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area

- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations

- Level 2/3 in Food and hygiene

- Paediatric first aid is preferred, however full training will be given
