Finance Operations Manager

Salary: c£60k (DOE)

Location: Hybrid (expect to be working from our office in Cornwall three days per week)

Due to significant business growth and plans for even more, we’re expanding our Finance Team and have a fantastic new opportunity for a finance professional looking for career progression. This role would be a great fit for someone looking for their final Operational Finance role ahead of progressing to the next level.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this newly created role will manage day-to-day financial operations, leading a team responsible for revenue, accounts payable, receivable and reporting. This is a hands-on role with plenty of scope to improve processes and support growth, in an organisation with career opportunities available to the right candidate.

What you’ll do

  • Oversee transactional finance and ensure timely month-end close.
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Manage and develop the finance operations team.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and support audits.
  • Work closely with the Head of Finance on reporting and forecasting.

What we’re looking for

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong operational finance experience with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
