Location: Princess of Wales Day Nursery, Bridgend
Hours: 41.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Baby Room Supervisor to join our caring team at Princess of Wales Day Nursery. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early years practitioner who has a genuine love for working with babies and young children, and who is ready to take the next step in their career.

About the Role:

As Baby Room Supervisor, you will take the lead in creating a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment where our youngest children can thrive. You’ll work closely with the Nursery Manager and wider team to ensure that the highest standards of care, safety, and early education are maintained at all times.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting the baby room team to provide outstanding care and learning experiences.

  • Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that support children’s development.

  • Building strong, positive relationships with parents and families, ensuring effective daily communication.

  • Overseeing key person responsibilities and maintaining accurate observations and records in line with the EYFS framework.

  • Ensuring the room environment is safe, engaging, and well-organised at all times.

  • Supporting the team’s professional development and promoting best practice in all areas of care.

About You:

  • Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Childcare and Education.

  • Previous experience working with babies (0–2 years) in a nursery setting.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.

  • A sound understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
