Company Overview

St. George’s Nursery is a family-run business that has been dedicated to providing high-quality childcare since 1994. Our mission is to support the early learning community by building the best foundation for children from birth to five years old, ensuring they are safe, happy, and learning.

Summary

Are you an experienced and passionate nursery manager looking for a dynamic role with variety, challenge, and the opportunity to make a real impact across multiple settings? St. George’s Nursery is seeking a Regional Support Manager to join our outstanding team and provide vital leadership and operational support across our family of nurseries.

About the Role:

As our Regional Support Manager, you’ll step in to lead individual nursery settings when managers are on maternity leave, annual leave, or absent for other reasons. You’ll also offer hands-on support during busy periods, transitions, or when additional leadership is required. This is a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards and warm, nurturing environments we’re known for.

This role comes with the same responsibilities as a Nursery Manager but with the exciting twist of working across all our St. George’s Nursery settings.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Leading nursery teams in the absence of the setting’s manager to ensure continuity of care and compliance.
  • Supporting with Ofsted preparation, audits, recruitment, and mentoring of staff across settings.
  • Implementing and maintaining high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding in line with EYFS.
  • Being a role model and positive ambassador of the St. George’s ethos, values, and policies.
  • Quickly building relationships with children, staff, and parents to ensure smooth transitions and strong leadership presence.
  • Assisting in delivering improvements, action plans, and driving quality across the group.

About You:

  • Experienced Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager ready to step up to a multi-setting leadership role.
  • Confident, flexible, and adaptable with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across East Midlands settings.
  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5 or above desirable).
  • Deep understanding of EYFS, Ofsted standards, safeguarding, and early years pedagogy.

Why Join St. George’s Nursery?

  • Be part of a passionate and award-nominated leadership team.
  • Variety, challenge, and career growth opportunities across a thriving group of nurseries.
  • Ongoing CPD and training opportunities.
  • Supportive and caring working culture.
  • Competitive salary and mileage allowance.

If you’re a resilient and enthusiastic early years leader who thrives in a fast-paced, supportive environment and wants to make a difference across multiple settings, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply now and help shape the future of St. George’s Nursery children and teams!
