Your responsibilities will include:
• Prepare and complete activities based on children's stage of development and interests
• Develop your role within the team especially with regards to being a key person, within the EYFS framework
• Contribute to planning and evaluation of daily activities
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships and communications with parents/carers
• Provide an inclusive environment for staff, children and visitors
• Be aware of the high profile of the nursery and ensure all staff uphold its standards at all times, both within work hours and outside
• Adhere to the nursery policies and procedures (including Covid-19 operation guidance)
• Safeguard the children: safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility
• Supervise mealtimes
• Washing and changing children as required
• Ensure good standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times
• Ensure a poorly child is kept calm and warm and parents are notified immediately in order for the child to be collected
