Day Nursery Jobs for The London Early Years Foundation (LEYF)
View company profile for The London Early Years Foundation (LEYF)
London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) is an award-winning charitable social enterprise that runs over 40 nurseries across 13 London boroughs. Over 75% of LEYF nurseries are intentionally sited in areas of deprivation where children do not typically have access to high-quality education and care.
This is because high-quality Early Years Education and Care can transform children’s lives and help them achieve their full potential. Young brains are shaped by experiences in the first 5 years of life, which fundamentally influence future health, wellbeing, and job opportunities.
Too many children are left behind, as Early Years Education and Care in the UK is chronically underfunded. Children who attend quality Early Years settings are more likely to graduate, less likely to be arrested and less likely to struggle with substance abuse as adults.
LEYF works to transform children’s lives and tackle educational inequalities that prevent all children from having an equal opportunity to succeed.
100% of LEYF nurseries are Ofsted Outstanding or Good. The biggest driver of high-quality provision is an expert team, and LEYF prioritises staff training underpinned by a strong social pedagogy and a teaching and learning model that ensures all children are given a fair start, regardless of their background.
