Farleigh School Nursery

Farleigh’s new Nursery welcomes children from age two, offering families a choice of full-time, term-time, and flexible attendance options to suit individual needs. Set within 70 acres of parkland at Farleigh School, the Nursery provides an environment where children can learn, play, and thrive.

At the heart of the Nursery is a child-centred curriculum, carefully designed around the unique needs, interests, and experiences of each child. Through high-quality interactions, meaningful play, and real-life experiences, children are supported to become confident communicators, curious learners, and kind members of the community. Staff create a nurturing and inspiring environment where every child feels safe, happy, and valued.

Outdoor learning forms a vital part of daily life at the Nursery at Farleigh. Benefitting from the school's extensive grounds, children enjoy endless opportunities for exploration, discovery, and adventure. Children have opportunities to climb, balance, construct, investigate, and take part in messy play, helping to develop confidence, coordination, and independence.

A strong focus on early communication and language underpins the curriculum. Through skilled, responsive interactions and a language-rich environment, children are encouraged to express themselves, build relationships, and develop the foundations for future learning.

Alongside a rich programme of play-based learning, children in the Nursery benefit from a range of specialist lessons including Dance, French, and PE, taught by Farleigh’s experienced staff. From the age of three, children also enjoy swimming lessons.
