The Butterfly Patch Wallington is a welcoming term-time nursery for children aged 3 months to 3 years, conveniently located within Wallington Primary Academy. Open from 7:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday during term time, the nursery provides a nurturing environment where children can learn, play and thrive while feeling safe, valued and supported.
The nursery follows the Curiosity Approach, encouraging children to explore through hands-on experiences, natural materials and open-ended resources that inspire creativity, confidence and independent thinking. Learning is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), with experienced practitioners tailoring activities to each child's individual stage of development.
Children benefit from a secure, self-contained nursery space with access to a dedicated outdoor area, including opportunities for Forest School sessions, mud kitchen play and outdoor exploration. Freshly prepared meals, a warm and homely atmosphere, and strong partnerships with families help create a positive start to every child's early years journey. The nursery also offers flexible full and half-day sessions, accepts government-funded childcare and provides an ideal childcare option for families seeking high-quality term-time provision in Wallington.
