Ivy House, Cobham is a Forest School inspired Nursery and Pre-School where children spend the majority of their time outside exploring, learning, feeding and caring for the chickens and enjoying nature. There is also an inside provision so the opportunity for babies and all children to feel safe and secure, to be inside for meal times, sleep times (although they do have outdoor sleep options too!) and some cosy time...

Our little boy has been at Ivy House since January and we honestly couldn't be happier. From day one the staff have been wonderful, kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. He absolutely loves being there and is always so happy to go in, which gives us such peace of mind as parents.
We love seeing all the activities he gets up to each day, and it's clear how much thought goes into everything they do. The team really know him as an individual and you can see how settled and confident he's become.

We can't recommend Ivy House highly enough. Thank you to all the staff for everything you do! We're so grateful he's part of such a lovely, caring environment.

Overall Experience

A very sweet nursery environment perfect for my 1yr old who is not easily pleased being left with anyone other than me! The team have built a brilliant space in the last 6 months for little ones to roam with plenty of activities building readiness for learning. The outside space is particularly good. Best kept secret in Cobham/Stoke D'Abernon when it comes to childcare!

Overall Experience
Our 23 month old twin daughters attend this nursery, and we could not be happier. The staff are incredibly kind, nurturing and attentive, taking time to know each child as an individual. Communication is excellent, and we always feel well informed and supported as parents.
The range of activities is fantastic, with a great balance of indoor and outdoor play. Indoors, there is a strong focus on creativity, imaginative play and hands on learning. Early learning, including mathematics, is introduced naturally through fun, play based activities.
The outdoor space is wonderful, spacious and full of opportunities to explore. Our daughters especially love the chickens, which provide a lovely and unique learning experience.

The nursery has a calm, welcoming atmosphere, filled with genuinely kind people. It is a place where our daughters are clearly thriving, and we feel very grateful to have found it.
