I have nothing but compliments and wonderful things to say about London Lodge. Coming from a mum who spent the first two years looking after my little boy at home, sending him to nursery and trusting him with people who were initially complete strangers was a huge step. Seeing how much he has flourished since then is absolutely priceless.
I truly appreciate the care, patience and genuine interaction, as well as the effort every member of the nursery team puts into helping the children build their independence, skills and confidence.
I can clearly see that my boy is so well cared for and, most importantly, that he is happy there. He always comes home with a big smile, and his vocabulary seems to get richer after every day he spends at London Lodge.
Knowing that he is somewhere he feels happy, safe and encouraged to grow means more to me than I can put into words. I couldn't be more grateful to the whole team.

He has learnt so much at forest school from writing his name, counting, drawing to chopping wood, how to dress for a rainy day, cooking outside, looking after the veg patch and the many extra activities including football classes, play ball, dance, and musical sensory classes.
Best decision we made, thanks to all the staff at London Lodge

We absolutely love London Lodge Forest Nursery. My little one has had such amazing experiences that I wouldn't have time to do or the facility to do. They made nettle soup, a theatre company came, lots of den making. They are always so well looked after and we get daily updates. The staff are so friendly and are always trying to do new things with the children. I always worried as a first time mum about leaving them for such a long day but I never have to worry with London Lodge. The adventures they go on are brilliant and my little one has learnt so much about nature and has really found a love of building things.

Our eldest son also attended for a short time after we moved to the area, and he thrived there too. The team supported him so well and helped him transition into school excellently.
The extra activities the children have the opportunity to engage in provide such a wonderful variety of experiences. Our eldest even said to his younger brother when he started, "Forest School is sooo cool, you get to go on a school trip every single day!" Referring to all the adventures they get up to, and it perfectly captures the magic of the place.
We're incredibly grateful for the nurturing, creative environment they create for the children.

I never thought I could be so pleased with childcare for my daughter but London Lodge and their staff go above and beyond in every way. Every day I am delighted with the report and photos that I receive and astounded at the variety of activities my daughter has engaged in. The space is full of opportunity for children to learn, play and move in and I love that it is so intertwined with nature and the outdoors, while providing the lessons that I'm sure will prepare her well for school. The staff are kind and caring, as well as always replying quickly to any message I send. I only wish my daughter could attend for longer!
London Lodge has been wonderful for my daughter. All the staff were mind and nurturing and have created a create a safe space where her confidence has blossomed. Time in nature, exploring and learning outdoors, has helped her grow in independence, resilience and joy.

Our son has had an outstanding experience at London Lodge. We are confident that he is active, outdoors and being engaged with varied experiences every day. We love how the curriculum is explored through the natural world and the additional skills that he gets to develop, such as tool use. As a very physical boy he has been thrilled to climb trees and create mud slides! I am confident that the nursery staff know my son well and go out of their way to care for him as an individual. It is very easy to get in touch with them and they are quick to respond to any queries and send lovely updates each day.
As a teacher I am so impressed with this nursery. It's provided my son with readiness for school while also giving him an outdoorsy childhood. The staff are caring and welcoming and communication is excellent. I would recommend this nursery to friends and family.

What I love most is seeing how his confidence has grown.
Being outdoors in all weather has made him more resilient and adventurous. He's developed a real appreciation for nature.
It's been wonderful watching him grow not just academically, but socially and emotionally too.
The outdoor learning is a different approach but helps my child to grow in so many areas. We are very lucky to have the nursery near us and my son will be so ready for school when time comes. I love to see him getting muddy and being happy daily.

I really like the Forest School's approach to childcare. My two boys (just over 2 years old) absolutely love it. They really thrive being outdoors so much. They are always happy to go into the Forest School in the morning and come out buzzing with energy and excitement.
