Hygge Bears Nursery

All the staff are so warm, welcoming and caring. We couldn't be happier with how much he enjoys nursery and the wonderful experiences he gets to have.

They are wonderful and I am so happy my son is spending his nursery days with these lovely people! Highly recommend!!

We switched nurseries after hearing great things and since we started, I cannot fault the staff or the experience we have had. My son is thriving, talking more, outside every day and I get regular updates. The food is also a huge improvement on our previous nursery with good options and home cooked meals. He settled quickly and talks fondly of all the staff especially Gail and Pia

Lovely nursery with a calm and cosy feeling! Has been great with settling in our 1 year old. Courtney and Mads do an amazing job with him and always keep us up to date throughout the day with how he's getting on and cute photos that make you feel at ease. Huge range of activities that they do. Amazing out door space, especially the farm! Extremely lucky to have lots of outdoor time everyday! Great balanced meals and snacks offered. Would recommend to anyone!

We also love the regular updates and photos, as it's so lovely to see what he's been getting up to during the day. The healthy, nutritious food provided is another big positive. We couldn't be happier with the nursery and love seeing him so happy, active and thriving! We would recommend Hygge Bears to everyone!

My child loves it here, the setting is lovely with the children visiting the farm once or twice a day. They can see and feed the animals and there is a large field and sandpit for them to play in as well. Inside, the rooms are lights and spacious and depending on numbers they allow the children to mix with older/younger ones. The staff are amazing, they take the time to talk at the end of each day and my child always goes in with a smile on their face. We're so glad we found Hygge Bears!

The staff have been lovely. I really feel that they know my child and are invested in his happiness and wellbeing. The location of being next to a farm and having access to the wonderful outdoor spaces they do makes it a unique place.

What I love is the outdoor element. They go outdoors every day and to the farm. Really like that they are not indoors all day

My son moved to the nursery in July after previously being at another nursery. What we initially loved about HB was the amazing location! The animals, huge sandpit and occasional ability to use the indoor play space adds even more variety to what can be a long day for little ones. They spend a good chunk of time both morning and afternoon out on the farm! The app is great (compared to others we have used) and the updates are very regular too which is hugely appreciated (because we know how hectic it is looking after toddlers!) Our son absolutely loves the staff and happily bounces in at drop off. He regularly leaves a bit muddy or messy but to us, thats a sign of a great day getting involved in lots of activities and fun. We were initially hesitant to move nurseries but we know we have absolutely made the right decision because he is thriving at HB! It feels like a family and not a business! Cant recommend enough Xx

Having spent my childhood mainly outdoors and coming from a family that have been heavily involved in education centred around forest school settings, it was really important for me to find a nursery setting that had a focus on outdoor learning, engaging with nature and providing children with the tools to grow and develop with an understanding of the natural world around them. As soon as I saw how the EYPs engaged with the children and the materials and spaces they had access to during their time at nursery I was sold- it was exactly what I had been looking for. There are daily outdoor sessions involving interactions with animals and nature and the children are encouraged to actively engage with their surroundings, supporting them to develop confidence and allowing them to explore and engage their little brains in how they fit into the world around them. I have found something on our doorstep that I didn't think I would be lucky enough to find at all. I can't recommend them enough.

Our daughter has been at Hygge Bears since she turned 1 in Jan. Over the past 6 months we can't believe how much she's come on in terms of her confidence, curiosity, vocabulary and fine and gross motor skills - and a huge part of that has been down to the amazing care and attention she receives at nursery. Although she only attends 2 days a week, we know she loves it because her face lights up whenever we mention the names of the staff members and her little friends. Now that she can walk she happily walks in on her own in the mornings, which is the best sign! The fact she spends a big chunk of time outside on the farm each day (no matter the weather) is brilliant, and there's so much space to explore inside the nursery too. She's always well fed and we love receiving the daily updates, photos and monthly reports via the app. It's such a nice feeling knowing she's being so brilliantly looked after and is so happy whilst we're working

My son recently started at the nursery after moving from another setting. I have been so impressed with the frequent updates and the care and attention the staff demonstrate to the children. The staff take time to talk to you at handover and provide you with a comprehensive update of your child's day. They know the children well and they are passionate about their jobs. I would 100% recommend this nursery to any of my friends or family.

Since starting at Hygge Bears Nursery, we have seen incredible progress in our son Akin. His speech and language, fine motor skills, gross motor skills and confidence have come on in leaps and bounds.

The team are compassionate and understanding when family circumstances arise and are flexible where possible, which means a lot to us. Akin now attends 3-4 days a week because the progress and happiness we see in him is so evident.

The biggest sign of how much he loves it is that he runs into nursery excited every morning. He is always well fed, and the staff communicate brilliantly with detailed daily reports about what he has been doing and how he is developing.

Whether the weather is terrible or great, I know he will have had a valuable day singing, playing and spending time with his friends. We are so grateful to the wonderful team at Hygge Bears - thank you from the bottom of my heart. I only wish it had been available for my older two children.

Home experience whilst being able to explore outside and the animals everyday whatever the weather. The staff are up to date with emergency protocols, safeguarding and early development. I feel completely at ease leaving my daughter here and didn't think I'd ever say that being a worrier. All my family members that have picked my daughter up have all said how amazing the nursery and staff are. If I could give 10 stars I would!

This nursery is really special. The team have developed such a unique, thoughtful, educational and caring environment. Our toddler gets so much out of her sessions at Hygge Bears; she thrives being outdoors on the farm, taking part in creative activities, and trying a range of different foods at mealtimes. We find the team really proactive and responsive with their communication. They genuinely see each child as an individual and are happy to work with family members to create the best experience for children. We have recommended Hygge Bears to lots of friends, colleagues and neighbours. If you're considering them then run don't walk, we can't recommend them enough!

Our son started at the nursery four weeks ago and we have already been so impressed with the experience. The setting is absolutely wonderful, with access to the farm and so much outdoor land for the children to explore and learn from. It's such a unique environment and perfectly suited to our son, who loves being outside and discovering new things.

The opportunities the children have to connect with nature and the farm are fantastic and something you don't often find in other nurseries. It really encourages curiosity, confidence, and hands-on learning.

The staff have also been brilliant from the very beginning. They are warm, caring, and clearly passionate about what they do. They've helped our son settle in quickly and always keep us informed about his day.

We're really happy we chose this nursery and feel confident that our son is in a nurturing, engaging environment where he can learn, play, and thrive.

We couldn't be happier with the care and support our child has received at this nursery. From the very beginning, the team went above and beyond to help him settle, taking the time to understand his individual needs and making the transition feel calm, positive and reassuring. The staff are incredibly kind, patient and attentive, and it's clear how much they genuinely care about the children. Our child has grown in confidence, happiness and curiosity. The activities are engaging, the environment is nurturing, and communication with parents is excellent. We feel extremely lucky to have found such a wonderful nursery and would recommend it wholeheartedly to any family.

My granddaughter recently joined Hygge Bears Nursery; she had a one week adaptation period, which made her and us feel more comfortable. Hygge Bears nursery is located by Foxhole farm, making it ideal as we wanted our little one to have a nature-based learning, with hands-on experiences like animal interaction, planting, and outdoor activities, fostering confidence, curiosity, and a love for nature alongside high-quality childcare setting.

We couldn't be happier with the care our 18-month-old granddaughter has received thus far. Aaron, Gail, Maddie and the other staff members are incredibly kind, caring and attentive. They always provide excellent attention and create a safe, nurturing environment where our little one and other children can thrive.

We honestly couldn't thank them enough and wouldn't recommend this nursery highly enough.

I can't rate this nursery high enough, the team are all superb and the communication is great.
