Ladybird Nursery Chalfont is a purpose built, state-of-the-art nursery across two floors, offering an inspiring early years environment. The setting accommodates up to 70 children daily between the ages of 3 months and 5 years. The pre-school group (3 - 5 years) is based on the ground floor in one large open plan room, whilst the baby (3 months – 2 years) and toddler (2 - 3 years) groups are based on the first floor in two separate rooms. Each room is warm, bright and homely.

An oasis of calm, a bespoke sensory room has been designed for Ladybird Chalfont. The room is filled with light, colour, texture and sound, allowing children to develop and engage their senses.

The nursery has two secure outdoor play areas to the front of the building. The first has been designed for pre-schoolers and toddlers, offering endless opportunities for older children to engage in physical activity and imaginative play. The second is a dedicated baby garden for younger children to explore in at their own pace. Due to the covered areas in both outdoor areas, children enjoy daily outdoor learning and play come rain or shine.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Our child has been attending Ladybird Nursery-Chalfont, since it opened in December 2025, and as this is our child's first nursery setting, after just over a month we are really pleased with our experience. As a new setting, it feels fresh, clean, and thoughtfully organised, with a very welcoming atmosphere.


The

staff are kind, friendly, and approachable, which has made settling in a positive and reassuring experience for both our child and us as parents. Communication has been comforting, and we enjoy hearing about our child's day. We especially love that the children are regularly taken on outings around the village, which feels like a lovely way for them to explore and learn.


Although it is still early days, our child is happy and comfortable there, and we are very satisfied with the care they are receiving. We look forward to seeing the nursery continue to grow.
