My daughter officially joined the nursery in Jan when she was aprox 13 months and is absolutely thriving! The staff are always so welcoming, kind and bubbly! I don't know where they get the energy from! The nursery is exceptional and I'm so happy with the progress my daughter has made for her first
time away from home without anyone she knows. She's always so excited to go to nursery and has a big smile when any member of staff answers the door, which is so lovely to see for a first time mum. Couldn't be happier with the service, education and culture at Ivy House in Ham

Choosing a nursery is such a big decision as a parent, and we feel so lucky to have found Ivy House. From day one, the staff have been warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring, which really puts your mind at ease.
My son started in September 2025 and settled in better than we could have hoped. He's built
such lovely bonds with the staff, he often goes in happily without even saying goodbye, which says everything. He's always just as happy at home time too.
He's grown into such a confident, happy little boy, and we truly believe the nursery has played a huge part in that. He loves the messy play and trips out, and I always know he's had a great day when he comes home messy and has used his spare clothes!
Even with food, the staff have been so supportive and communicative. We viewed several nurseries, but nothing compared - we wouldn't change a thing and would highly recommend to any parent

My daughter joined the nursery when she turned 2 and I couldn't be happier with the support she has been receiving. The staff are incredibly patient and caring and helped her settle in very quickly.
When she first started, she could only say a few words but since then her speech has improved so much
and we've also seen great progress in her social and overall development. The team have really helped build her confidence and she now enjoys playing with other children and expressing herself much more.
I'm very grateful for the nurturing environment the nursery provides and for the dedication the staff show every day. It's lovely to see how happy she is there and I would highly recommend this nursery to other parents.

My son has been attending Ivy House since it opened in August 2025, and choosing it for the start of his educational journey has been one of the best decisions we've made.
The nursery is thoughtfully designed, with a wide range of engaging toys and activities that genuinely spark curiosity and support
development. The children regularly go out on trips in the local area, and the photos shared with us give a clear sense of the experiences they're having and the confidence they're building.
What stands out most is the team. The staff are warm, welcoming, and consistent in the care they show, not just to the children but to us as parents as well. They've taken the time to understand our son as an individual and have supported his development in a way that feels both structured and genuinely nurturing.
By 6:45am every morning, our toddler is standing by the front door ready to go, even on weekends. That tells you everything you need to know

I could not be happier with our daughter's nursery. The setting itself is absolutely lovely welcoming, calm, and thoughtfully designed to help little ones feel safe and happy. The staff are truly exceptional, incredibly talented, patient, and genuinely caring. Their warmth and dedication shine through
in everything they do.

Our daughter is currently going through an autism diagnosis, and the understanding, sensitivity, and support shown by the team has been nothing short of amazing. They have taken the time to really know her, adapt to her individual needs, and ensure she feels comfortable, included, and supported every single day.

It brings us so much peace knowing she is in such capable and compassionate hands. We are endlessly grateful for the care they provide and would wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to any family.

My little boy a has settled into Ivy House Ham really well, despite me being really worried about leaving him. The staff have been great and made us feel very welcome & at home. The outside space is lovely and they go on lots of little trips with the little ones.
One concern I had with sending him
to any sort of childcare was communication and being kept in the loop with how my child is settling/doing but communication has been great. Such a relief!
Would highly recommend.

As a parent, leaving your little one with anyone is hard, not least strangers. But the whole team at Ivy House genuinely understand (as parents themselves) what it's like. They've created a nurturing environment that feels a home away from home. My little one reaches for the team when he arrives each
day, and is so happy when we pick him up. The app is updated regularly so we can keep up to date with what they're up to. The staff are great communicators. Ivy House have made a difficult thing so much easier, and I'm genuinely safe in the knowledge my little one is ok when he's with them.

  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.3 out of 5 from 7 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 5.000 for Ivy House Nursery Ham Street is calculated as follows: ( (84 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 84 Ratings = 5
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.329 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Ivy House Nursery Ham Street is based on 7 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 = 3.6
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 48 number of registered child places is 9.6. 7 Positive Reviews ÷ 9.6 = 0.729
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
