Whitburn Village Daycare

Whitburn Village Primary School now also offers Whitburn Village Daycare, as part of the Department for Education’s national initiative to enhance early years education in the North East and across the country.

The new provision offers places for children aged 2 to 5 in both daycare and school settings. Families will be able to access high-quality childcare from 8am to 6pm, all year round.

From September, all 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds are entitled to 15 hours of funded childcare during term time, while working parents can access up to 30 funded hours per week.

To further support families, The Willow Tree also offers additional wraparound care and holiday sessions, providing flexible childcare options throughout the year. Read less
