Little Buds is a brand new baby room provision that opened in September 2024 as an extension to the wonderful Sunflower Nursery based at Trinity Primary School. Little Buds warmly welcome you and your Little Buds to come along and join this lovely setting.

The setting is proud to offer a child-centred approach that caters to your child's developmental, physical and emotional needs by crafting a home from home environment in which your child will thrive. The nurturing staff are at the centre of everything and positive relationships, alongside an enriching environment provide a multitude of exciting opportunities for your child to explore and show curiosity. This child-centred approach enables children to experience the joy of learning and supports the development of happy, confident, independent and resilient children, allowing your little buds to blossom in every way.

The atmosphere is calm, welcoming, and full of warmth. You can really feel that the staff care deeply, which makes the daily drop off much more comforting. The setting always appears clean, well organised, and thoughtfully set up to support both play and learning.
Communication has become easier with
the introduction of a new app. It's really user-friendly and keeps us up to date with our child's day, activities, and any important notices. It's reassuring to have instant communication and it's lovely to receive regular updates and photos of our child trying new things, growing in confidence every day. It really helps us feel connected and reassured while they're there.
We highly recommend this nursery to any parents looking for a nurturing and well-run environment for their little ones.

We were a little apprehensive about sending our little one to nursery for the first time and spent a while researching different provisions in the area. We finally settled on Little Buds.
When we met the staff, they showed us around the well-thought-out, nurturing environment. They arranged home visits
and settling-in sessions, which were so beneficial as our little one had already met the team several times before starting. This made the transition easy for both of us.
Our little one has now been attending the nursery for six months and always has a big smile on her face at drop-off and pick-up. Communication between the nursery and ourselves is excellent. We're kept up to date daily with routines, sleep, and activities through the app - something we love, as it reassures us that she's happy, safe, and well cared for by the Little Buds team. Any queries or questions we have are always answered promptly.
We couldn't be happier with our choice - Little Buds is the perfect nursery for us

I honestly can't say enough good things about this nursery. The staff are so lovely - every single one of them has been incredibly supportive and caring every step of the way. The communication is always spot on; I'm kept in the loop about everything, which really gives me peace of mind.


My daughter

absolutely loves it there - she's settled in so well and feels completely comfortable and happy. It's such a relief knowing she's in a safe, nurturing environment where she's genuinely cared for.


I'm so grateful to the team for everything they do. You can really tell they love what they do, and it shows in how happy the children are. Highly recommend!

My daughter has been attending Little Buds since May 2025 after moving from another nursery. It was the best decision to move her from her previous nursery and we couldn't be happier with ours and her experience of Little Buds. The staff were amazing at supporting her transition and settling in and
ow she's so settled and happy there. Staff are great at letting you know what's going on in the nursery and how each day has been and I feel that they truly know her and her interests, as well as working with the routines we have at home too. She has good meals and snacks whilst there and has made amazing progress since starting, and I always know her next steps and how to support her at home. I couldn't honestly recommend Little Buds enough to anyone with a baby/toddler!

My son has been in little buds baby room since it opened in October 2024 and he absolutely loves it there. The staff are so lovely and caring and I couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery for our little boy. We receive regular updates as to what he is doing during his days and have regular updates
to his progress in nursery.

My son has been attending the nursery since January this year, comes twice a week and absolutely loves his time there he has learnt lots of new things and is really enjoying socialising with other children.
He is always smiling and playing happily on collection at the end of the day and the teachers
always give him lotsbof reassurance and encouragement of a morning when leaving him.

Job Title: BABY Room Manager Joined: 2024

Miss Flack is our wonderful baby room leader. She joined Little Buds baby room in September 2024 and was very hands on (quite literally) in the setting up and design of our beautiful room. She has a wealth of experience in working with both young children and their families.

Rachel Fairclough

Job Title: Baby Room Assistant Joined: 2020

Mrs Fairclough joined Trinty school many years ago to work in our Nursery class. She has a true passion and gift for working with young children and so was an ideal candidate to move into our new baby room. As a mummy herself, she is very nurturing towards our children as well as being spot on when it comes to child development. Mrs Fairclough has a level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

Kirsty Morton

Job Title: Baby Room Assistant Joined: 2020

Miss Morton joined team Trinity a few years ago to work in the Primary School. Her skills in working with younger children quickly shone through and she now works between our Reception class and our baby room. She too, is a Mummy and that, along with her background in working in a nursery setting meant that she was a wonderful addition to the Little Buds team.

Annabel Sowman

Job Title: Baby Room Apprentice Joined: 2025

Annabel joined out team in January 2025 as an early years apprentice. She is completing her 18mth apprenticeship course with us and benefitting from training under the expert eye of Miss Flack. Annabel loves working with young children and already has the nurturing attitude needed. As a big sister herself she knows how to relate to the younger children and has been a lovely addition to our team.
