At Playtime Preschool, the team provide a high-quality early years setting that nurtures children's development through purposeful play. The provision caters for children aged 2 years to 5 years, offering a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, they tailor activities and routines to support each child's individual learning journey. The thoughtfully arranged rooms are designed to meet the developmental needs of each age group—encouraging exploration, creativity, and independence. Children also benefit from daily access to a secure outdoor area, promoting physical activity and a connection with the natural world.
The experienced and fully qualified staff are dedicated to supporting every aspect of a child’s wellbeing and development. They build strong partnerships with families through regular communication and progress updates, ensuring a smooth and consistent experience between nursery and home life.
The kitchen team provide freshly prepared, nutritious meals and snacks each day, with full consideration for individual dietary needs. Promoting healthy eating habits is an integral part of their commitment to children’s overall wellbeing.
Inclusion, diversity, and mutual respect are at the heart of everything they do. Each child is recognised as a unique individual and supported to reach their full potential within a caring and stimulating setting.
At Playtime Preschool, the team are proud to lay the foundation for lifelong learning—helping children build confidence, make friendships, and develop essential early skills.
They warmly welcome visits—come and see how Playtime Preschool supports children’s learning, growth, and joy during the early years.
Meals (morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and tea) are £5.00 per day. A packed lunch is allowed where a child has severe allergies and a health care plan from a medical professional, and it must be nut-free and in line with EYFS guidance. Nappies and wipes are £2 per change and sun cream is £1 per application, and parents may provide their own consumables at no charge. Hourly sessions are subject to availability and must be booked in line with our session times. Holiday care is available at our Goodmayes branch by prior arrangement. Funded hours may be taken term-time only (38 weeks). We do not charge top-up fees on Government-funded hours, and charges apply only to additional private hours or optional extras.

I am extremely happy with the entire team. Each member of staff who looks after my children has something special to offer, whether it is their energy, dedication, patience with the little ones, or the respect they show towards both children and parents. In particular, Harjit, Gema and Dhena are incredibly creative and show outstanding commitment to supporting the children's development and well-being. They are always open to any kind of discussion, listen to our concerns and ideas, and we always manage to find solutions together.
I truly appreciate their hard work, kindness and dedication. It is reassuring to know that my children are cared for by such a wonderful team, and I am very grateful for everything they do.

What a fantastic nursery this is, I have been so fortunate to have been with this nursery for both of my children and they have enjoyed their time over the past years at different times. This nursery has brought so much love and joy to both my children and my self and have always been there for us for all the ups and downs and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a mix of great learning, love, support and friendship. The amazing team here are so welcoming to everyone and they go out of their way for all children to make going to nursery a fun time and somewhere parents can be assured that their children are safe and happy.
Dhana, Gemma, Tash and all the other team have been amazing and I can't thank them enough for all of the hard work they have given to my family.

We can't thank Playtime Pre-School enough for all the wonderful care and support they've given our son. From day one, they have been incredibly helpful, understanding, and attentive to his needs. A special mention to Dhena, the manager - she is absolutely amazing at what she does! You can truly see the love and dedication she puts into making sure every child is happy, safe, and thriving. We would also like to give a huge thank you to Gemma and Nanthini, who look after our son as if he were their own. Knowing he is in such caring hands gives us complete peace of mind while we're at work. Our son can be a fussy eater, but the team never gives up on him - they are patient and encouraging, and we've even had some great success days! He has come such a long way since starting at Playtime Pre-School, and we can see so much progress in his confidence, eating habits, and overall development.
We would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a caring and professional environment

My children absolutely loves going to this setting, and as a parent that gives me so much peace of mind. From the very first day, the staff made us both feel welcome and reassured, and it's clear how much they genuinely care about the children. I've seen my child grow in confidence, independence, and happiness since starting here, and it's lovely to hear all the little stories they come home with. The team put so much thought into creating fun, engaging activities while also supporting each child's individual needs, and I really appreciate the open communication they have with parents. I feel very grateful knowing my child is in such a kind and nurturing environment. I have worked with the staff for over 5 years where all of my children have attended and recommend them to everyone I meet!

My daughter usually takes time to warm up to new people and has always been quite attached to me and her dad. We struggled to settle her into two nurseries before, so I was amazed when she became comfortable at Playtime within just a couple of weeks. I can truly feel that she is loved and cared for by the whole team, and as a mother, that means everything to me.
Dhena is wonderfully supportive and incredibly efficient, as are Gemma and the rest of the team. My daughter affectionately calls everyone "teacher," and right now her absolute favourite is Dolly, whom she adores the most. The staff go above and beyond to make the children feel safe, secure, and nurtured in the most caring way possible.
I'm so grateful to have found Playtime for Sanayah. I feel completely at ease when she is there, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them-especially to parents sending their little ones to nursery for the first time. Wishing the team all the very best!

Every member of the team went above and beyond, and they became more like an extended family to us. The nurturing environment, patience, and kindness shown to our daughter helped her grow in confidence and happiness every single day.
