Creating links with local businesses, such as the church and care home, to provide unique experiences for the children.

What’s something you have loved about your Early Years Career so far?
Starting up Fennies Croydon, Lower Addiscombe Road and reaching full capacity within 1 year.

What’s your ambition to help improve the Early Years Sector?
Coming together with other Fennies Nurseries to broaden our communities from within and share experiences and environments.

What’s a fun fact that makes you stand out?
Katie used to play Water Polo for the Cheltenham Ladies Team, showcasing her ability to work effectively in a team environment.

What helps you stay connected with your communities?
Organising events like "Genes for Jeans" to raise awareness about genetic disorders and support important causes such as this and many more.

What’s something you have loved about your Early Years Career so far?
Hearing the laughter and seeing the smiles from interactions between children and the team, it never gets old.

What’s your ambition to help improve the Early Years Sector?
Placing more emphasis on making children ‘Ready For Life’ rather than just ‘Ready For School’.

Abi used to be a deputy manager at a nursery herself before working in Admissions.

What helps you stay connected with your communities?
Having regular visits to the nurseries helps her form strong bonds with the team.

What’s something you have loved about your Early Years Career so far?
Getting to work with good, nice people and being able to help make their and their parents' lives easier.

Always being available, regularly checking in with parents and accommodating wherever possible.
