2 of my children attend Busy Bees in Lenzie and I would highly recommend it to others. The staff are lovely and organise lots of fun activities for the children. The resources and the meals are great also. A lovely nursery.

Busy Bees Nursery (Lenzie) is a fantastic nursery, staff are always kind caring and compassionate with my children. The food is outstanding and the staff have supported us in getting them eating additional and expanded foods. The learning environment is varied with the use of breakout areas and outdoor
space. Reading is actively encouraged and part of their routine. I can't recommend the nursery more highly.

Such an amazing nursery and staff are amazing with my son, he loves going in every week and never gets upset which is so reassuring as I put him in at quite a young age ,we get updates all day on the app which keeps us informed on how they are doing and what they have eaten that day, so glad we chose

I must start by saying a massive thank you to all the staff for all the work they do, they are amazing and are always supportive. My 3 year old has loved coming to nursery since starting here. The whole experience has been amazing, he loves the routines, he always talks about his day and what he has
done. The meals are very good and healthy, he always eats them and has never really said he doesn't like anything. The app that the staff use to update the childs day is really good it lets you see what your child has been doing and what they have ate ect. Any observations of your child are put up on the app and the room they are in always do a weekly update with what has been going on in the room. The nursery itself is very well maintained and the rooms are always stocked well with resources for the children to play with. The garden is a hit with my child he loves being outside on the bikes. I love the layout of the room which means the children have outdoor access as much as they want.

My wee boy started in July and the staff have been so helpful to ensure he is settling in well. The nursery space is clean, bright and engaging for all children. The staff are so helpful and friendly and this really helps me feel at ease. They have a fabulous indoor and outdoor space for all children.
The app provides daily updates of my boys naps and mealtimes. The app is great!
All staff are great but would like to thank a few members of staff in particular for being super helpful and friendly! The nursery is very attentive to each child's needs which is important. Thanks again!

Our little one started Busy Bees in February and has settled in so well.
The staff are very attentive and approachable. They have taken the time to really get to know her & show a genuine interest in her development. Every member of staff you encounter is friendly and, from admin team to the domestic
staff, they all know my Daughter by name, which is really lovely.
The nursery itself is really clean and modern. It appears well equipped for the needs of the children and I love that the outside space is put to such good use too.
The nursery has exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend!

Current Review Score: 8.9 (8.911)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.9 (8.911) out of 10 for Busy Bees Glasgow Lenzie is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.9 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.986 for Busy Bees Glasgow Lenzie is calculated as follows: ( (71 Excellents x 5) + (1 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 72 Ratings = 4.986
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.925 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Glasgow Lenzie is based on 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 = 3.55
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 80 number of registered child places is 16. 6 Positive Reviews ÷ 16 = 0.375
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Centre Director

Hello, my name is Nicole and I am the Centre Director here at Busy Bees Glasgow Lenzie.

I bring to Busy Bees Lenzie my 10 years of experience working in the early years. Since joining Busy Bees in 2015 I have been successful in the roles of Lead Educator and then Centre Director and my experience in leading some of our Edinburgh and Glasgow nurseries has moulded me into the Centre Director I am today.

I am extremely proud to be leading the team in our new nursery, Busy Bee's first-ever new build in Scotland, from setting up the learning spaces to welcoming all our families into the amazing environments we will create. I am a very enthusiastic, outgoing, professional person who believes that teamwork is the key to a successful nursery. I lead my teams with enthusiasm and encouragement and support every Busy Bees colleague in achieving their best, while in turn, we deliver excellence to your family.

My favourite part of my day is spending time in each of the children’s learning spaces, working with the staff watching the children laugh, play, learn, and grow, and being excited when they achieve new things.

I cannot wait to bring the team together, welcome and meet our families and see our nursery blossom!
