Royal Oak Nursery and Pre-School

The best nursery - all my kids went and some still are. Amazing staff. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nursery. My older kids who are in school still talk about their experiences with the nursery.

I have been so happy with this nursery - after trialling two different nurseries, I have really felt like my son has been in excellent hands and in a very practical, kind and nurturing environment. The manager and assistant manager and his classroom teachers in Pre-school have all been very proactive and responsive. I would recommend this nursery to anyone! The facilities will be even better when the nursery moves back to its original campus.

My son (2 years) has been going to this nursery full-time for over a year now and he seems very happy there. He is fond of all the staff and enjoys the activity-filled days. The staff understands his passions and will work with those to further his learning. I trust that he is in great hands.

My children have attended Harrow Road Nursery and love their teachers and the activities they are part of. I could never have imagined the development opportunities they would have throughout their baby, toddler, and pre-school years. Let alone the meals that are available to them. The staff are loving and friendly and considered part of our extended family as my children love them so much. I’ve recommended it to many people looking for a day nursery in the area.

My youngest will be joining in the next few weeks and I’m excited for him to start this new journey with this nursery. If I had the money I would have both my boys here together because I love the way the staff care for them and are always working alongside me.

I have been very lucky to have sent my kids to this nursery (little one still in baby room, eldest one now moved on but still so well greeted and loved every time we do pick up of her brother). Feels like home to us now, I trust the staff completely despite all the challenging situations and sometimes pretty overwhelming rules. They all work so hard and most importantly do love the little ones. Would highly recommend.

We are now moving to another area so we have to change nursery, I know our daughter (and us) will miss it very much!

My daughter started aged one and adapted very fast to the nursery, she improved a lot in many skills. There is a lot of activities done. The Staff has a good energy and they explain all that happened during the day.

My son has been attending Harrow Road Nursery & Pre-School since 2019. He is very happy and we are very grateful for the rich learning environment in the nursery. My child had speech and language delay. I have been supported by the management team extremely well and she has provided so many activities and arranged a meeting with a speech and language therapist for my son. He is now progressing so well and ready for the reception.

My child enjoys nursery, the staff and the environment. I’m pleased with the additional activities in place to aide in growth. From the sensory room, to regular yoga and the routine of positive affirmations, all of which is inline with my personal values.

This particular nursery has the most amazing and supportive staff and management. The immense support and encouragement the nursery gave for my child to develop language and communication is impeccable and understanding of my daughters needs and care. My child has begun to bloom into her own little person who is independent and learning, excited and loving her nursery. Thank you all in this nursery for genuinely caring, supporting and developing my child's learning. Thank you for everything you did for my daughter.

My little daughter have been there for two terms and she learned lots of new words, rhymes with actions, science and lots more. The staff was so lovely and helpful, they helped her to settle and kept me posted about how she was doing everyday. I am likely to recommend this nursery for your kids.

Our son has recently started at Harrow Road Nursery & Pre-School. We have been really well looked after during the settling in process. The staff are absolutely lovely. They are clearly very kind and professional towards my son and have been very flexible to meet his needs. They are never too busy to give me an update as to how he is getting on. Although he's only been going for a few weeks, he already seems to be thriving. He also really loves the food, so compliments to the chef!

Both my children went to Harrow Road Nursery & Pre-School, it was a recommendation from my sister. As a parent I have very high expectations for my kids. This nursery was a perfect fit! Both my children are now age three and four, are well spoken, very independent, caring, loving, love reading and love outdoor activities. The teachers challenge the kids to reach their full potential at that age. I liked the app, where you can see updates, assessments and progress. All in all, I highly recommend for children to start here.

I knew as soon as I stepped into Harrow Road Nursery & Pre-School, having visited over ten other nurseries in the locality, that this is where I wanted my daughter to go. The nursery has a home from home feeling, relatively small numbers of babies and toddlers, its bright and has an organised and targeted approach to nurturing, learning and development. They have a beautiful large garden that my daughter loves to play in. Although it is a new building, they have made it so homely and welcoming.

The staff at Harrow Road Nursery & Pre-School show endless dedication, care and support for my daughter's well-being and development. I am very happy with all that my little one has learnt in last few months, she is growing as a confident little girl and she looks forward every day to spending time with them. Thanks for everything that you do to look after my daughter.

My three children have attended Harrow Road Nursery & Pre-School and I am thrilled with it. The staff are attentive, accommodating and provide a wonderful, safe environment for the children. I trust the team and know my children are in good hands whilst they are there. I highly recommend this nursery.

Our daughter really enjoys her time at the nursery, and she loves all her teachers! Great food (cooked on-site) and amazing outdoor space (two big gardens - one just for the babies). Totally recommend it.
