L&G is a wonderful nursery that truly goes the extra mile to keep toddlers engaged. They organize a variety of events and craft activities that make learning fun and interactive. The staff are absolutely lovely, and my little one adores the manager and another staff member -they create such a warm and caring environment. It's a joy to see my child so happy and excited to go every day. Highly recommend L&G to any parent looking for a nurturing and creative space for their child!
My son has been going here a few months and it is amazing! I've never been one to trust someone els with my child but when I walked into the nursery for the first time I knew my son would be safe and have the best time. They have an amazingly healthy menus with all allergy's in mind, I couldn't recommend this nursery enough
I am especially pleased that they cater to halal dietary requirements, ensuring my son's nutritional needs are met without any concerns. Communication is excellent-regular updates are provided, and the staff also share feedback verbally during pick-up, which I really appreciate.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the care and attention my child receives and would highly recommend this nursery to other parents.
The nursery set aside a key worker to help settle him in and he started making improvements daily you could see the difference a week in he no longer started to cry at drop off's, in the second week there was an improvements on the tantrums, listening and behaviour. Finally in the third week he took off his jacket as soon as he walked in no screaming or yelling this time lol.
The settling in process is such a worry for parents so I just want to thank all the staff at Learn and Grow Day Nursery for the wonderful job they have done. Making the process so smooth always keeping us informed while helping him adapt to nursery life. All the staff are very caring and kind. I can't thank the team enough and really recommend this nursery.

Overall, excellent, I'm very pleased.
The manager and her team were amazing at comforting her and helping her to settle in, building her confidence (and mine!) whilst she got used to nursery life. The team are very kind and caring, and would take on board any suggestions I had to help her settle in. She now has a brilliant time there, loves playing with the other children and enjoys the meals provided as she usually eats well there.
They often display the arts and crafts activities that the children have been working on in the reception area, which is always lovely to see!
They use an app to provide updates on the children throughout the day (eg. what they have eaten, milk consumption, nappy changes etc). The updates have become more frequent recently, which is really helpful as it helps plan ahead for the evening.

Fiona joined us in October 2024, with over 16 years of childcare experience she is confident in her role and is leading the nursery forward to its best potential.
Fiona has the Early Years Foundation Degree, gained in 2016.
