Through their partnership with Aberdeen City Council, St Margaret’s School is pleased to be able to offer fully funded nursery places up to 1140 hours per school year for all eligible children.
A very popular Holiday Club is available for certain weeks of the school holidays, one week in Easter, three weeks in summer and one week in October.

Jennifer attended Aberdeen College to gain her SNNB qualification prior to working for nearly 15 years as a nursery nurse in a Special Educational Needs Setting. Whilst working, she studied at the Open University to gain her BA Honours degree in Childhood and Youth Studies. In 2012, Jennifer joined St Margaret's as the Nursery Manager and has recently returned after maternity leave.
Laura attended Aberdeen College and gained and HNC in Early Childhood Education, before working for a couple of years as a Nursery Nurse. She then enrolled at Aberdeen University and completed a B.Ed (Hons) Primary.
Laura started her teaching career in Edinburgh and worked there for a number of years, teaching in all stages of Primary School before returning to Aberdeen where she took up a post teaching in Inverurie. She worked in the same school for 9 years, teaching again in a variety of stages but spent the majority of her time in Early Years (p1-2).
In April 2019, Laura started work as a Nursery Teacher at St Margarets. She is passionate about the Early Years and supporting the children as the lead in their learning. Laura loves working as part of the team at St Margaret's nursery, to ensure their children get the best possible start to their early education.
Katarzyna started her career in early years education over twenty years ago, training to teach English as a foreign language in Poland. As a student of foreign languages, but mostly English, she travelled to remote nurseries and primary schools to introduce the children to English through songs, rhymes, and playtimes.
When she moved to Aberdeen in 2006, she worked in various childcare settings whilst raising her two daughters. Katarzyna started at St. Margaret's After School Care in 2020, before taking up the role of Nursery Lunchtime Support Worker in 2022. In January 2024, she completed her SVQ in Playwork. Katarzyna takes enormous pleasure in contributing to a happy and purposeful atmosphere in the nursery setting.
