The Happy Haven adopts the PERMA+ Theory of Happiness as a framework when working with children in helping them achieve a great happiness for themselves

The nursery's aspirational purpose is to enable each child to ‘Be Happy, Be Bright, Be You’… to flourish and achieve a great happiness for themselves, as healthy, independent and resilient, moral citizens, in partnership with their parents - their first and primary educator.

We absolutely love this nursery. The staff are warm, professional, and genuinely care about the children. My little one has come on so much since joining the activities, outings, and learning experiences are wonderful.
The food is a big bonus too: halal, healthy, and cooked fresh on site, with options
for all preferences.
They even provide nappies and wipes, which makes life so much easier.
There are great extra activities included as well, like music, cooking, and yoga my child looks forward to them every week.
It's been such a positive experience for our family, and I'd highly recommend the nursery to anyone considering joining.

Amazing environment for my goddaughter, they provide cooked meals and have an all inclusive fee which includes nappies and wipes unlike some places plus there are so many extra curricular activities. The staff are great and very professional - I can't over state how much of a blessing they've been

My niece has been at The Happy Haven Day Nursery for around six months now, and honestly, I can't fault them. She's come out of her shell so much since starting, and you can see the confidence growing in her every week.
She absolutely loves when they cook - always comes home excited telling us what
she made and how she made it. It's really helped her become more independent and proud of herself.
The staff have been great from day one. They're supportive, patient, and you can tell they genuinely care about the kids. They communicate well, they pay attention, and they've helped her settle in better than we expected.
Overall, it's a warm, safe, and positive nursery, and as her uncle, I'm genuinely happy she's there.

My daughter just started at the nursery recently and she's loving it there. She's normally quite shy but settled in very quickly, the staff are very friendly and made her transition from home to nursery so much easier. As first time mum the experience has just been wonderful.

As a parent, I've had a really positive experience with this nursery. The staff are warm, supportive and genuinely care about the children. My child is always eager to go back each day, which says a lot about how comfortable and happy they feel there.

One thing I really appreciate is how well they

keep parents informed. I receive regular updates during the day showing what my child is doing, what they've eaten, and little moments of their activities. It's lovely being able to see how their day is going while they're at nursery.

The staff also share observations about my child's development and have been very helpful in supporting him to reach his milestones. They communicate well with me and offer encouragement and advice on how I can support his learning and development at home too.

I am highly satisfied with The Happy Haven Day Nursery. Prior to enrollment, I experienced apprehension about entrusting my foster child to a nursery setting; however, my concerns were alleviated upon my initial visit. On the first day, staff members and children extended a warm reception to my foster
child, who did not initially say goodbye. The staff assured me that my foster child would be secure and engaged in stimulating activities, which was indeed the case. The nursery provides an environment conducive to growth and development. As a result, my foster child has gained increased confidence, is no longer shy, and demonstrates strong progress in learning. Previously struggling with counting and reading, my foster child now exhibits enthusiasm for books. I am extremely grateful for the support provided by the nursery.

We take our son to Happy Haven. The teachers put their utmost in everything, they meet the children needs in every way possible. They pay attention to the smallest details. The way they speak to the children is second to none. They take time to speak to us about our child's progress which helps us
to understand where our child needs the extra push at home.

I couldn't be happier with this nursery. The facilities are clean, safe, and really well set up for young children, with plenty of engaging toys, learning materials, and space for play and exploration.

The staff are absolutely wonderful - warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. They take the time

to get to know each child and create such a supportive and nurturing environment. Communication with parents is excellent, and it's clear how much effort they put into making sure every child feels included and supported.

Most importantly, my child is always happy and excited to go in, which says everything. It's such a relief as a parent to know they are safe, well cared for, and enjoying their time there. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a positive and nurturing place for their child.

As an aunty, nothing makes me happier than seeing my niece thriving - and Happy Haven Day Nursery has truly been outstanding for her. She comes home every day full of excitement, confidence, and new things she's learned. The progress she's made is incredible.
The staff are so personable and genuinely
caring. You can feel the warmth the moment you walk through the door. They treat every child as an individual, and it really shows in how happy and settled my niece is.
I'm especially impressed with the variety of learning experiences they offer. She's already picking up both French and English at nursery, which is amazing at her age. And the cooking sessions - honestly, I can't fault them. The children get hands-on, learn real skills.
Happy Haven is everything you'd want for a child you love: safe, nurturing, creative, and forward-thinking. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Having recently enrolled my child at The Happy Haven Nursery I could not be happier, the staff provided us with a warm welcome and greet us every time with a beautiful smile! The nurturing environment they have created not only puts our child at ease but for us as parents too. The curriculum is well
structured focusing on educational and social development, and in particular mannerism which is pivotal in our family. Moreover, the facilities are excellently maintained and, our child absolutely loves them too as she keeps talking about the kids kitchen at almost every given chance! It is so wonderful as a parent to see my child enjoy going to The Happy Haven Nursery. I highly recommend the Happy Haven Nursery and feel very appreciated that they also cater to Halal food as well! A big thank you to The Happy Haven Nursery and in particular to the manager, who is always lovely and helps us with any questions that we have!

As a big brother, I've been so impressed with how well my little brother has settled at Happy Haven Day Nursery. He was very attached to home, but the staff made him feel so welcome and supported that he quickly became comfortable. Being new to English, he has made incredible progress in understanding
and building his vocabulary, which has been amazing to see.
He especially loves taking part in the extra curricular activities like Construction for Kids and Super Star Sports, which are perfect for his interests and keep him excited to learn and explore. Seeing how happy and confident he is at nursery makes me wish I had the chance to go to a place like The Happy Haven when I was younger!
This is by far the best nursery we've experienced, and I couldn't recommend it more highly for its care, activities, and nurturing environment.

Current Review Score: 10.0 (10.000)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 10 (10.000) out of 10 for The Happy Haven Day Nursery is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 28 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 28 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 5.000 for The Happy Haven Day Nursery is calculated as follows: ( (336 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 336 Ratings = 5
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for The Happy Haven Day Nursery is based on 28 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 56 number of registered child places is 11.2, which has been reached with 28 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
