The team at Catford Nursery pride themselves on individuality, being unique from Mindful Nurseries' other locations.
Specialising in the Montessori method, practitioners cater all activities towards children's interests. Little ones are encouraged to self-select activities and toys, as well as free-flow between indoors and out.
This approach to learning emphasises real-life skills and hands-on learning, with particular focus on each child's language, cognitive, physical, social and emotional development.

One of the biggest compliments I can give Mindful Nurseries is that my daughter absolutely loves going there. She settled in remarkably quickly, and before long, she was even asking to go to nursery at the weekends! I think that says everything about how happy and comfortable she feels there.
What makes Mindful Nurseries so special is undoubtedly the people. Ade, Alex, Sarah, Sen, Chrissy, Lilly, Monique and Aparna really are the heart of the nursery. They are an exceptional team, and I cannot thank them enough for the warmth, kindness and genuine care they show my daughter every day. She has developed such lovely relationships with them and genuinely looks forward to seeing them.
What I particularly admire is how attentive they are to each child's individual needs. It is clear that they take the time to really get to know the children, understand their personalities and support them as individuals. Their approach is nurturing,

It's a wonderful, nurturing place, and I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a well-balanced and caring environment for their little one!
We couldn't be happier with this Montessori nursery. When we first saw the space, we noticed it was quite small, but they make the most of it, keeping it engaging for the kids. Our eldest has been there for two years, and now his younger sister has joined him. We love that they get to be together...
This nursery has exceeded our expectations. Our children love going, and we feel confident they are in a caring, enriching environment.
Lovely nursery with helpful, caring and responsive staff. We love the vertical learning as a result of the mixed ages. A highlight is the variety of outings and real-life learning experiences including weekly trips to the library and occasional trips further afield to museums for example. The...
Lovely nursery with helpful, caring and responsive staff. We love the vertical learning as a result of the mixed ages. A highlight is the variety of outings and real-life learning experiences including weekly trips to the library and occasional trips further afield to museums for example. The monthly themes that guide the learning experiences also really inspire the children. Other highlights include the frequent cooking and banking opportunities as well as the outdoor play. Although the indoor rooms are on the smaller side they have been laid out thoughtfully and creatively. The children love the new outdoor area.
We are so happy with Mindful Montessori Nursery. Our son has been so happy here from 18 months to 3.5 years. His development through the Montessori way has been incredible to watch. We loved the family feel and the staff have been incredible, supportive and always there for us when we needed them....
