Nature's Little Learners is a small family run curiosity approach inspired nursery based at Hornbeam Park.

The nursery is set to encourage independence, curiosity, and problem solving while in a safe and secure environment. It is a home from home setting, which uses open ended resources to encourage your child's play and learning. Nature's Little Learners uses a child-centred approach, where they give children the freedom to learn and explore in a way that suits them, then follow their lead.

The building consists of a baby room, tots room, toddler room, and pre school room. Aside from the main areas there is also a sensory room and indoor garden for all rooms to enjoy.

Nature's Little Learners is based less then a 5 minute walk from a nature trail, children go out to the nature area at least once a day to explore all it has to offer. The children also love to go visit the trains, the library and the park. A lot of time is spent outdoors and within the community. They believe being outdoors can offer children so many learning opportunities and life skills.

15 - 30 hours funding is available for those eligible, and extra hours of 7am to 6pm to accommodate all parents needs.

We absolutely love NLL Hornbeam Park. From the moment our daughter started, we've been so impressed by the beautiful setting and the amazing staff. Everyone is so caring, attentive and genuinely passionate about the children's development and happiness. Our little girl absolutely loves all the of the
team.
While the outdoor space on site is limited, the team more than makes up for it with daily outdoor activities - from walks and forest school to regular trips to the library and even taking the children to the Great Yorkshire Show. They really seem to focus on providing a variety of enriching activities.
One of our favourite things is the daily photo updates through the app they use - it's so lovely to see what our daughter is up to and this was really important to us. The level of communication is second to none.
Having had a negative experience at another nursery nearby, we can honestly say that NLL stands out in every way. We recommend it to everyone!

Amazing nursery, with even grater staff, they are caring and professional, they know how to fulfill my son's needs, they greet him with a big smile, and he comes out very happy. I can see the amazing pictures of the activities they do, and what a treat to be able to do forest school, my son absolutely

Natures little learners have made me as a first time mum so at ease with sending my little one to nursery there.
He started going around 7months old and is still going now and is nearly 2.
As a first time mum I was so worried about sending him to nursery and Nature's Little Learners have calmed my
anxieties. My son, LOVES going there - he experiences all sorts and he throughly enjoys his time there. He has seen animals, goes on walks, his confidence and learning has come on so so well since attending nursery here.. I will be forever grateful for the care and love shown to him here

Both my children have attended Nature's Little Learners (one of them is still there), the setting itself is so lovely and welcoming. I'm 100% confident that my daughter is well looked after, she is so happy when she arrives at nursery and always comes out smiling. I would go as far as saying that leaving
my daughter with the staff at Nature's Little Learners is like leaving her with a family member she's that settled! They do a variety of activities with the children and send daily updates/pictures which I love and always enjoy receiving them.

Honestly, I can't be grateful enough for the staff, they are all amazing.
This little nursery is a great place for little ones, they have so much fun every day, do so many activities. Definitely one of the best nurseries in Harrogate.

As a parent, finding the right nursery for your child can be daunting. However, our experience with Natures Little Learners- Hornbeam Park has been nothing short of amazing. Our son has been attending for nearly 2 months, and we couldn't be happier with the care and attention he receives.
From the
moment we first visited, we were welcomed with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere. The facilities are immaculate and designed with children's safety and enjoyment in mind.
The staff at Nature's Little Learners- Hornbeam Park are exceptional. Their professionalism and genuine care for each child are evident in everything they do. We appreciate the consistent communication, as they keep us informed about our son's progress and daily adventures. It's reassuring to know that he is in capable hands.
He particularly enjoys the indoor garden and storytelling sessions. The nursery's focus on social skills has also been beneficial; our son has learned to share and cooperate with others.

My boys just started Nature’s Little Learners and I can’t be happier with it. It’s so intimate and the team are so friendly. The nursery is decorated beautifully and the range of activities for all age groups is on another level.
They go on walks twice a day and do exciting things outside of the nursery
which is lovely to see.

After a bad experience with a previous nursery I was reluctant to put my son into another, however Nature's Little Learners Hornbeam has restored my faith. My son settled straight away, the team are caring and I go away knowing that he is happy in their care which is so important as a mother. The nursery
offers beautiful facilities and my son loves the amazing trips, adventures and forest school activities. His development in terms of recognising numbers and letters has come on leaps and bounds in the space of 4 weeks which really shows the time and effort the staff put into the children in their care. I cannot recommend enough!

Gorgeous setting, so glad I found this nursery for my little one. He absolutely loves coming here which makes me so much happier about going to work. He really enjoys the forest school and he has learnt so much. The staff are amazing and keep me well informed on a daily basis. I wouldn't send him anywhere

My daughter started in preschool here in April. The staff are really caring. She loves going every day. She is always busy playing making modelling clay, painting and baking and the slide in the garden room is so big and fast she loves it. Despite not having a garden all the children go outdoors every
day. The woods are just round the corner for exploring train spotting and animal spotting. They've even been on trips to the playground, the cafe and even took a train to Harrogate to spend the day at Valley Gardens. The nursery has a resident tortoise who she likes feeding and even bathing every once in a while. Really happy to have found a local nursery which I'm as happy with as she is.
