Smile & Shine Nursery

My baby attends the ruby room at smile and shine and I cannot thank the staff enough for all their hard work!

A very nurturing environment, with very thoughtful and thought out activities & curriculum. A special thank you to the room leader Danielle who works tirelessly on the curriculum and the activities and ensures all the babies are well taken care off! They have a great balance of being indoors and outdoors and their outdoor space has been so well designed for all the age groups. My baby thoroughly enjoys his time there and likes all the staff! He jumps at them as soon as he sees any of the ladies in the room!

Daniella, Denisa and Oktarina have been so great with my baby and I'm super happy with the love and care he's receiving at the nursery!

Also the new chef is great! Love the fact that all the food is made from scratch in the nursery!

My son joined the nursery in November and I have been blown away by the care and support given to my son to help ensure that he settled in well. The team are absolutely fantastic as they make every effort to really get to know each child. They show warmth and care in everything they do. My son enjoys going there and I am so reassured as I know he is in such safe hands. The staff are very well organised and I feel really supported as a first time mum. The facilities are lovely and I've seen so much progress in my son's development since he started. We couldn't be happier with this nursery and we highly recommend them.

We are absolutely blown away by the care and detail that goes into the children's day. Upon collection my children are in no rush to leave, and when we arrive they are skipping towards the entrance looking forward to their day. Daniela is always sharing feedback and extra moments of the day, and never misses an important detail. It is a joy to feel such comfort when leaving your children in someone else's care, and we are truly so grateful for the team and their efforts in creating a warm and encouraging environment for the children.

This is a home from home, I couldn't wish for a better place for my son to be when he's not at home.

Communication is also excellent. They use video app and dedicated apps, which makes receiving updates and photos incredibly convenient. We also appreciate that they have their own kitchen, providing fresh meals, and a fantastic big garden for outdoor play. We're so grateful for their exceptional dedication and the wonderful start they've given our child. We highly recommend this nursery.

Great nursery! All teaches are lovely. My son is very happy here. The facilities are great with a massive outdoor space for kids to learn and explore. Updates from nursery are very helpful to keep track of my son's activities and progression. The food provided is nutritious and tasty. So lucky to have found a spot here! :)

Overall experience is really nice. Staff is confident and very patient with kids. Activities are effective and build great confidence in my child. The Head of the Nursery is very enthusiastic, and staff follows her lead.

We have felt so welcomed, supported and cared for at Smile & Shine.

It is a beautiful nursery, one of the best in the area. Both my kids 3 and 5 years old had a good time here and always came back happy. We loved the space they have developed- a big natural garden and a Montessori-based inside setting. They take kids to forest walks which my kids absolutely loved. The owner and their staff are very accommodating and engage kids with good fun and learning activities throughout the day.

The set-up of Smile & Shine is very nurturing and responsive. They are very considerate of each child's needs and requirements and pay close attention to every little detail. I think it's a great setup that will be going a long way- successfully!

Smile & Shine Nursery is a fantastic setting run by the manager and her wonderful team. All the staff are so caring and knowledgeable. The activities and opportunities that they provide for the children are brilliant - particularly all the forest school aspects. My son loves the nature walks and building dens in the woods! The staff also communicates well with parents, providing regular updates and tracking the children's learning and development. I would strongly recommend this nursery!

Our little explorers are excited about the coming summer at the nursery.

The nursery is run by a very experienced, caring and fun manager and team. The setting, activities, food and facilities are excellent, and we are genuinely impressed. The environment is very nurturing for my baby son, so it allows me to relax during the day and concentrate on my work without feeling guilty or worried. The emphasis on learning, fun activities like discos, healthy food prepared by an onsite chef and outdoor activities make this nursery a true gem. We can’t believe how much our boy progressed since starting the nursery. He absolutely loves going there.

It's been less than a month, but so far, we couldn't recommend Smile & Shine more highly.

My little one attended Smile and Shine Nursery when he was three. The planned activities were a mixture of sensory play, cognitive development and physical development. I was constantly kept up to date with his app report as he was constantly assessed on the seen key areas of EYFS national curriculum requirements. If there was any concern, it was communicated directly and we worked out the next course of action accordingly. My little one had a great time and consequently, when he started reception, he was ready and well-adjusted to the school setting. Simple skills like wearing your jackets, shoes and boots and following instructions. I highly recommend it.

Smile and Shine is an expertly run childcare setting where my two daughters attended over a number of years. The manager provides a warm, nurturing, stimulating and safe environment for children. I had absolute confidence every day in the care my children received whilst they attended the setting. The manager became an important figure in their lives and to this day they still remember and recall their time at Smile and Shine very fondly. I have no hesitation in providing an excellent reference for this setting.

The manager and team provided excellent nurturing care for my son. I liked how creative the setting was. I was reassured by the regular communication and updates given. I would recommend this setting with no hesitation.
