The kindergarten features three spacious and well-equipped classrooms, each with direct access to excellent outdoor learning areas. From a dedicated outdoor space for the youngest babies to a large playground for toddlers and pre-school children, the outdoor environments provide opportunities for children to be active, develop new skills, and explore the world around them. Daily outdoor play supports children's physical development, wellbeing, and understanding of nature as they experience the changing seasons throughout the year.
Located within the Newcastle Family Hub, the kindergarten works closely with local services and provides families with access to additional support and guidance whenever needed. This partnership helps ensure that children and families can access appropriate services quickly and effectively.
In addition to nursery provision, Newcastle Kindergarten offers a holiday club for children aged 3–11 years from across the Newcastle area. The setting maintains strong links with local primary schools and supports children as they move on to the next stage of their education.
All meals are freshly prepared on-site each day by the Catering Manager, and convenient on-site parking is available for families. The experienced team is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where every child can thrive.
Funded places are available for eligible children from the term after they turn 9 months old until they reach 5 years of age.

From the moment my daughter started, she has been so well cared for, supported and encouraged by such a lovely team. It's been amazing to see how much she has grown in confidence, independence and developed into the happy little girl she is today. The staff have always been so caring, approachable and supportive, and we have always felt reassured knowing she was happy and well looked after while she was there. They have helped her learn so much and prepared her brilliantly for her next big adventure starting Reception. It's such an emotional feeling knowing her time at nursery has come to an end after an amazing few years. We will genuinely miss seeing all the lovely staff and being part of the nursery. Such a brilliant nursery , team and management . We will miss you all x

We couldn't be happier with Newcastle Kindergarten. Our daughter absolutely loves going and is always excited to attend each day. Seeing her run in with a smile gives us complete confidence that she's in a happy, safe and caring environment. Since starting, she has grown so much in confidence, become more friendly and sociable, and her speech has improved tremendously. We are amazed by how much she has learned. She now recognises lots of animals, confidently makes their sounds, and is already learning her alphabet sounds. It's lovely to see her come home excited to share what she's learned. The staff genuinely care about every child and have created a warm, nurturing environment where children are encouraged to learn, play and thrive. The communication with parents is excellent, and it's clear the team is passionate about helping every child reach their potential. We are incredibly grateful for everything they do and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Newcastle Kindergarten to any parent.

Excellent nursery. The team are fantastic and treat ever child as indivuals .Both my twins have thrived even though one struggles more than the other. They have both have grown and shined in different areas, which is amazing to see . Senior management were on hand to help to get my son the extra support he needed with his speech and language and he now closing the gap of where he should be with the help of her early learning team. My twins started 2 .5 years ago at the same time as it became kindergarten, taking over from the previous owner. They have done fab job making it safe, bright and enjoyable for all children 0-4 years and i hightly recommend them. Using the outdoor space is definantly the highlights of both there days. It safe, clean and spacious.

My son is starting Reception soon, and I just want to say a big thank you to everyone at the nursery. He has been going there since he was 2½ years old, and it has always been a safe and happy place for him. All the staff are kind, caring, and friendly. They have always taken great care of my son, and he has learned so many new things during his time there. The nursery regularly checked his development and milestones and discussed his progress with us. They also have a lovely outdoor play area with lots of toys for the children to enjoy. The management team is very friendly and approachable. They use an app to track each child's development and share photos every day, which was lovely to see.
Thank you to all the staff for helping my son grow and prepare for school. I would happily recommend this nursery to other parents.

We couldn't be happier with Newcastle Kindergarten. From the very beginning, all of the staff have been so caring, supportive, and welcoming, making both us and our daughter feel completely at ease. The team genuinely cares about every child and creates a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where they can learn and develop. We've seen such a positive change in our daughter's confidence, independence, and social skills since she started.
One of the things we appreciate most is the special bonds she has formed with certain members of staff. It gives us so much reassurance knowing she has people she feels safe, comfortable, and happy with every day. The staff have taken the time to really get to know her as an individual, and they always go above and beyond to meet her needs. Whether it's making sure she has her comforter when she needs it, following her daily routine, or simply giving her that little bit of extra reassurance, they always treat her with such kindness and patience.

Newcastle Kindergarten gave my son the absolute best start. He was there for 2 years before we moved down south and he misses the team immensely. He started as a baby in the sun room and built some lovely relationships with the girls in there. When he moved up, I was apprehensive, but I didn't need to be as the team settled him so well! He still had great relationships with the baby room staff, who seen him regularly. All of the staff genuinely care about the children. They plan some beautiful activities for them and love on them like their own. The rooms are lovely and have a real home like feel to them. To the point that I struggled to find a new nursery down south that we liked, as we compared so much to Newcastle Kindergarten! The toys and resources they have are wonderful. The outside area is amazing! My son came on leaps and bounds here and was encouraged so much by all of the team. This really is the best nursery in Newcastle and I would recommend to anyone.

After raising my three sons, I followed my lifelong passion for working with children by beginning my career in Early Years education as a childminder. I continued my professional development within school nursery and Reception settings before completing a Foundation Degree and BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Development. I have also achieved an MSc in Psychology and continue to develop my expertise through specialist training in early childhood attachment.
I love building positive relationships with families from all backgrounds and working in partnership with parents and other professionals to ensure every child receives the very best start in life. I love supporting children throughout the nursery and helping staff to support and understand children’s behaviour through attachment and connection.
I enjoy working alongside other professionals to meet the needs of our children at the earliest opportunity.

I began my childcare career in 2008, completing my Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications while working as an apprentice in a nursery. Over the years, I have progressed into leadership roles, gaining extensive experience across different age groups before joining The Kindergarten Group. I have now been part of the team for 7 years, during which time I have progressed to Room Leader and more recently taken on the role of Deputy Manager.
I have always loved working with children and enjoy helping them learn, grow and develop every day. No two days are ever the same, and I particularly enjoy getting creative through messy play while supporting children to build new skills and confidence. Seeing children achieve their own individual milestones and knowing I have played a part in their early years journey is incredibly rewarding.
