Layo & Olu own the nursery and are parents themselves.
They have experienced the journey of families in their Early Years first-hand as parents to 4 children, all whom attended nurseries, they are passionate to see Wonder Zone provide this key service to families while remaining community and family-centred.
Dan has 13 years of experience in Education and Childcare, having worked his way up from an apprentice at larger chain settings. He has extensive experience in supporting SEN and working in partnership with families to achieve the best outcomes for the children.
Mireille has substantial experience in Early Years with a deep passion for Under 2's.
Having lived locally in the nursery for many years and being an active of the community, Mireille is excited to give back to the local families of Welling.
Mireille oversees the Health & Safety of the setting, working closely with wider management, the kitchen and the team to make sure the nursery is the safest place for the children at Wonder Zone.
Elise has worked in Early Years since college, with experience in all age groups, including in a school environment.
As a parent herself, Elise knows the value of good parent partnership, which is vital in her role as Nursery SENCo to help ensure all our children get the best education start in life.
Emma joins Wonder Zone during the school holidays, away from her other role as a practitioner in a private school nursery environment. She works primarily in our Over 2's support our Deputy Managers, she is currently studying for Early Years Teacher training.
Jannet works in our Over 32s as a Senior Practitioner, supporting Tulips and Sunflowers in the absence of their Leads.
Kari has joined us with a wealth of experience in Over 2's and works in our Tulips room, supporting learning and development. Kari has a passion for imaginative play.
Kaitlan works in our Sunflowers after joining us to complete her Level 3 training. She enjoys reading and doing arts and crafts with the children.
Jannathe joined our Relief team back in mid 2024, she has a great passion for children and is normally found supporting our Under 3's.
Lily was one of the first team to join Wonder Zone and since starting has began her Level 3 practitioner training. She is based on Tulips.
Nisa joined us back in February last year, new to Early Years but with the experience of being a parent herself, has grown in confidence fast and is now undertaking her Level 3 training. She is based in Sunflowers Room.
Chandana joined our team in 2024 and has already gone from Relief Team to a permanent member of team within Buttercups Room.
Kelly works at Wonder Zone usually two days per week, supporting primarily our Tulips team, while finishing her studies at college.
Nissi works at Wonder Zone around her university studies, bringing her friendly bubbly personality to support our Tulips and Sunflowers.
Vilma has a background in catering but with a passion to see children happy and cared for. She supports the rooms during lunch breaks and helps in the kitchen whenever required.
Goma has a passion for children, especially supporting those with additional needs. As a parent herself, Goma knows the value of quality care for children and ensuring their needs are met.
Lee has been cooking in schools and nurseries for several years and is an avid baker at home too. She enjoys creating and preparing meals for the children while planning some cooking activities with our Sunflowers & Tulips too.
