The setting also provides Before and After School Club and holiday club provision for children attending local schools, including Kingsfield First School, Christ Church CE Primary School, Glebe Primary Academy, Heron Cross Primary School, and Our Lady's Catholic Primary Academy. Staff maintain strong links with primary schools in the Fenton area, supporting children as they transition confidently into school.
Outdoor play is an important part of daily life at Fenton Kindergarten. Children of all ages enjoy regular access to a dedicated outdoor learning space, where they can develop physical skills, build confidence, and explore the world around them through play and discovery.
The kindergarten maintains strong connections with the local community. Children regularly visit nearby locations such as Fenton Park, The Lido, Temple Street Methodist Church, and The Limes Residential Home. These experiences help children learn about their community and support meaningful intergenerational relationships with older residents.
The Catering Manager prepares fresh, nutritious meals on-site every day, ensuring children enjoy healthy, balanced food during their time at the setting. The dedicated team is committed to giving each child the best possible start to their learning journey.
Funded places are available for eligible children from the term after they turn 9 months old until they reach 5 years of age.
