Welcome to Blue Orkids @ Goldington Community Nursery!

Located near Putnoe Primary and Goldington Primary School, Goldington Community Nursery offers three distinct rooms that create a spacious, home-like atmosphere. The Nursery environment is designed to provide a rich variety of learning opportunities that support children's development.

All children have access to the outdoor environment, where the veranda extends learning from the preschool room. This allows for free flow and encourages independent choices. Additionally, there's a soft play area on the veranda designed for younger children to enhance their physical development. Down in the lower garden area, children can engage in various activities, including climbing apparatus and exploring the natural spaces, helping them build important relationships with their peers.

Children also enjoy weekly sessions in Multi Sports, Tiny Mites, and visits from the library bus, further enriching their experiences.

The menu features a selection of healthy, nutritious meals that are freshly cooked on-site, and all dietary needs are accommodated too.

Goldington Community Nursery has friendly and experienced staff and they are available for a personal nursery tours and happy to answer any questions you might have.

My daughter has been attending the nursery for about two years, and I am lucky to have found a place where she's happy and where the teachers are excellent. The manager, she is very kind, lovely and helpful. It's a very good place, especially for those with children with special needs.
I recommend
this nursery to all parents for their children.

Overall good experience, very understanding from the management if have any concerns or difficulties and very helpful information is given. Now in regards to app since the update to new one I'm very disappointed hardly any update and picture see what my son been upto.

I am so pleased I picked this nursery! Every single practitioner is so kind and I feel so reassured leaving my daughter in their care.
They have set individual targets for her and are constantly updating me on her progress and sharing pictures and stories with me about her day.
I am so grateful to
the hard work these ladies put in every day to make sure my daughter feels safe and nurtured, would highly recommend this nursery.

Overall, this nursery is very good. The staff are wonderful.
The only thing I have highlighted is that they requested me to put bibs in my daughter's bag for when she eats however since supplying them, they are never used. They come back still clean in the bag. Subsequently, it has meant that, occasionally,
my daughter comes home covered in food.
I have no issue with messiness at all however in certain cases where it can be controlled, I think it should be.

The team at Goldington are working hard to improve the children's learning experience and I will be happy to send my second child when the time comes. There is a positive and relaxed atmosphere at the nursery and the staff care about the broader development of the children. Our child is happy to go
in the morning and is content and proud of the learning when leaving. The staff have managed to facilitate positive attachments to teachers and between the children themselves, conducive to security and confidence. Learning activities increasingly tend to be engaging and creative.

Since we enrolled our little girl in kindergarten it has been a beautiful experience. the caregivers treated her nicely and she easily passed the settling-in period. I am happy with everything that is happening.

As a parent, I couldn't be more pleased with Blue Orkids Nursery in Bedford. The communication and support from the staff are exceptional. The teachers are not only highly qualified but also genuinely dedicated to the development and well-being of each child.
The variety of educational activities offered
is perfectly tailored to the individual needs and interests of the children, which has greatly benefited my child's growth and learning. The nursery's commitment to regular meetings, detailed reports and daily updates means I always feel informed and involved in my child's progress.

My child/dren love attending this nursery. They have a lot of fun and have learned new things. Staff are caring but firm and fair with boundaries and this has helped them to grow and develop more independence. Staff and management have gone above and beyond on occasion to help. Management is very good
and is very supportive. I have had one or two issues with billing accuracy, communication with staff and resolving issues with unkindness amongst the children. However, these issues were sorted very quickly with apologies offered and an evaluation of how they would change things going forward. This is how I would expect any issue to be resolved so, on the whole, I am very pleased with the nursery.

Very friendly and reassuring staff. Great nursery for my son - he fits in perfectly. A lot of outside space and activities for the kids as well as inside the nursery. My only downside is the app being used for parents; it's a very confusing app, and not everything is written down throughout the day.
