Sunflower Day Nursery

We've had a really positive experience with this nursery. The staff are kind, patient and genuinely care about the children as individuals. Communication has always been thoughtful and supportive, and they take the time to really understand each child's needs.

I've been particularly grateful for how attentive and responsive the team have been when discussing my child's development. They've listened carefully to my concerns, shared their own observations openly, and worked collaboratively with me to make sure my child feels safe, supported and settled.

It's reassuring to know my child is in an environment where she is understood and cared for, and where early support and wellbeing are taken seriously. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to other parents.

My daughter started at Sunflower Nursery in May at 9 months old in the baby room when I returned to work. I cannot speak highly enough of the team, they immediately made us feel welcome and the process of settling in was incredibly flexible and worked perfectly for us. She is so happy and gets so excited when we turn into the building. There is constantly new facilities being added and so many fun activities for her to do, she also absolutely loves the food and eats everything (and more) that they make. The team do the perfect balance of letting my daughter be adventurous and independent while ensuring that she is safe (a tricky task for a girl that likes to climb things and thinks she should be in preschool ages 15 months!). I am so pleased that I chose Sunflower Nursery, it has made the process of going back to work so much easier knowing that my little girl is having an absolute ball and is genuinely excited to go to nursery herself.

My daughter has attended here for the last few months, and she has come on leaps and bounds! The staff are welcoming and thoughtful, where nothing is too much for the children or parents. The activities provided are varied and engaging, and communication through the app is prompt and detailed. Thank you all for the wonderful job you do!

I loved how they kept on developing the nursery facilities to maintain a good quality enviornment. Thanks for the lovely memories that was created to my son, he still misses this place!

Our son started here a few months ago. The staff are always welcoming, providing us with updates on how he has been throughout the day, as well as photos of activities he has taken part in. The activities are well planned and inclusive for his age group. Highly impressed with the staff and management as they have eased our anxiousness by ensuring our son is happy and thriving within the nursery setting

I have two children attending Sunflower and they started in 2023. The wraparound is really helpful. The staff are attentive and my children have advanced in their speech language and writing. They have other grown ups they rely on and as a single parent this is amazing to see.

My daughter has been attending this nursery just over a year and let me tell you she absolutely loves it! I was initially very worried to send her as she is my first, but she loved it since induction day. The way she is loved there by each and every staff makes me feel so reassured that she is in good hands whilst I'm busy working. I would definitely recommend sunflower to every parent blindly as I have nothing but positive things to say about it. Well done to the lovely staff of Sunflower for providing such an environment where parents can leave their little ones with full reassurance, keep it up Sunflower Day Care and keep shining!!!

An amazing nursery. My little one has been attending now for nearly a year. There is such a family feel to the nursery and all the staff are amazing. They love each of the children as if they are their own and are happy to make little changes to suit her needs/likes. The app is updated regularly with lovely pictures and I can always message/ring the staff and get a quick reply. The nursery are always building on their resources and seeking to grow and improve in any way they can too. I can't wait for my little one to play in the new garden.

From the moment I walked into Sunflower Nursery, I was certain it was the perfect environment for my son’s development. Spotless, secure, and super kid-friendly, it had me at hello. The manager and the crew have this warm vibe that just feels like home. It's been a year and wow, my son's chatting up a storm and bouncing out the door to school every day. The nursery is very good and maintains very good standards in terms of cleanliness and tidiness. The staff are very professional and they have a very good team. Kids totally enjoy their time spent in nursery and at the same time learn a lot as well. Very good and keep up the good job to the manager and team! Kudos!

My 3-year-old girl started nursery and daycare a few months ago and we are very much delighted and satisfied about the tender loving care she receives from her home away from home. Day by day she improves her confidence, gross and fine motor skills and many more. Most importantly, we are very pleased to see she enjoys playing with her friends when we go to pick her up in the evening. The manager, director and the entire staff are simply amazing. I have had a very positive experience with the nursery. In the start, I was worried for my son settling in, but the friendly and trained staff have made it very comfortable for my son to settle in. I really appreciate the way the manager and director involve themselves with the kids.

Brilliant nursery. My daughter loves it there. Staff are very friendly and approachable. Everyone is really helpful. They always create nice activities for the kids and they send lots of photos which is always appreciated.

I am kept informed throughout the day of how my daughter's day is going, such as meals, sleep and nappy changes as well as photos of activities via an app which I find very helpful. I am also given further details when I pick her up. I am impressed with my daughter's development - she is coming on in leaps and bounds being at Sunflower, I highly recommend this nursery.
