Muddy Puddles Nursery

A lovely Nursery with a homely and family feel. Staff always take the time to talk to you at the end of the day, even when they are still busy. The management and Admin team do their best to accommodate any changing needs when needed.

Most importantly, my daughter is so happy and has grown in confidence so much socially. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to other parents!

Muddy puddles is an incredible place for early years development. The range of activities they provide-from messy play to outdoor exploration-is fantastic. Our son comes home every day excited to tell us about what he's learned. The staff are professional, communicative, and clearly passionate about what they do. We've seen a massive leap in his social skills and language since he started. Highly recommended!

Muddy Puddles was the best choice we could have made for our son. He has been at the nursery for almost a year now and we have nothing but love for the staff, nursery and the effect they have had on our boy. Each employee at the nursery pays close attention to building individual relationships with the children. They are dedicated, enthusiastic and very comforting to any parent who has concerns or worries about their child. Our son adores attending nursery, he talks about his friends & the adults even at home, he has learnt so much and his speech has come so far since joining. The nursery itself is always in good condition when it comes to cleanliness, it's modern and fresh and feels very spacious. Every day, the nursery updates parents via the app regarding what their child is up to, the theme of the week, and more. From the day we looked round this nursery, it felt like the right choice for us, and it was.. we recommend it to anybody we know.

Our daughter absolutely loves nursery, thanks to the fantastic staff and lovely setting. All the nursery staff are so friendly and attentive and always have the best interests of our daughter at heart. The management is run smoothly and efficiently, and nothing is ever too much trouble. The soft play adjacent to the nursery is definitely a highlight for us, and the ability for the children to use the soft play facilities after they close whilst at nursery is something my little one absolutely loves! The facilities always seem very well kept and clean, with a beautiful outdoor space too. I can't thank the setting enough for taking such great care of my daughter and aiding her development - it's so special seeing her come home and show me things she has learnt there, such as the sign language for 'please' and 'thank you'. I always know she is in safe hands at Muddy Puddles.

Our son has been attending the nursery since October 2022 and always has a great time. The staff are brilliant, patient, caring and actively involved in trying to make our son's experience as meaningful and as fun as possible. We always rave about it as a nursery and recommend it to others who ask. We feel very lucky that we were able to secure a space when we did and are convinced that the whole time so far has been instrumental for our son's development.

We are extremely happy with Muddy Puddles Nursery and feel very happy and confident sending both of our daughters (aged 3 and 1.5) there.The staff are absolutely wonderful, kind and attentive, they take time to understand each child as an individual. The key persons make every child feel safe, valued, and genuinely cared for. The range of activities is impressive, with plenty of creative play and crafts that clearly support learning and development in a fun, engaging way. The handovers are always very friendly and informative, in a very calm and positive mood. The weekly reports with photos are a fantastic touch. They give us real insight into what our children have been doing and how they are progressing.

Overall, Muddy Puddles is a nurturing, stimulating, and caring nursery, and we feel very lucky to have found such a supportive place for our children.

Our son has been attending Muddy Puddles nursery since January 2025 and we are very happy with how he has settled into nursery life. All the staff are lovely and welcoming and our sons' confidence has grown so much over the past year. They provide engaging activities for the children and keep us updated with anything we might need to be aware of. It's a lovely, modern setting and the garden is brilliant with a great mixture of different toys. I'd highly recommend Muddy Puddles to any parents looking for a welcoming and trustworthy nursery.

I send both my girls to this nursery and they love it. The staff are friendly, caring and always welcoming to the children and us. There's plenty of outdoor play, crafts and activities, With lots of art coming home!

In the winter, the different classes take it in turns to use the soft play at Explores Soft Play after they've had their tea. These are my children's favourite days!

We receive weekly reports with photos showing what the children have been doing in each room, as well as daily updates on meals, nappies and sleep. Which is great

Child safety is a top priority here, with strict procedures for pick-ups and well-managed emergency contact protocols. I feel very confident leaving my children in their care and would highly recommend this nursery :)

Our daughter has absolutely thrived at this nursery. She comes home full of beans every day, which says everything about the care and fun she has there. She often talks, sings and laughs about the staff at home, they have become so important in her little world. We're so grateful for the nurturing environment they've created and we would absolutely recommend to other families :)

A lot of inspiring activities for the children to do which change weekly to a new theme. I can tell my daughter is learning so much and is constantly being kept engaged. The staff are very knowledgable and can tell they are experienced with children. This nursery is helping my daughter to develop no end. It's all run very professionally and have nothing but good words to say about the space, resources and all the staff. Everybody works extremely hard to keep a smooth running operation of what I can imagine to be a very complex and demanding job. I feel she is very safe and in great hands there.

My daughter started Muddy Puddles when she was 2 1/2 years old. She had never left me prior to starting nursery. She settled so quickly , the staff were amazing and settling her in quickly and were really good getting to know her. She loves nursery and is always asking me if she can go. The staff are all really lovely and super friendly. I would 100% recommend Muddy Puddles to any parent.

The best part about Muddy Puddles is the staff, who are wonderful. They are caring, kind and very professional, so I know my little one will always be well looked after. The kids are also served healthy meals each day, plus snacks and alternatives are provided. My daughter has enjoyed being at Muddy Puddles so much that I have no hesitation in sending my youngest there soon. It's fantastic!

The nursery is very clean and well equipped, the staff are kind and compassionate and the activities are engaging and fun. My daughter's activities and progress are very well communicated in person and via the app, and the team are always open to discussing anything we want to ask about. I am very happy with the way my child tells me all about her teacher at nursery and how they take care of her. I always tell my friends about the nursery and I hope my child will be happy when she goes to reception in September.

My little boy has been attending since he was 10 months he is now 3 and a half. He absolutely loves attending and is super excited on nursery days. His confidence has grown so much. He does so much and can’t wait to tell me what he’s learnt that day. From story time, singing and dancing to counting and learning the alphabet and outside play, yoga and even meditation I’m not sure how they fit it all in. I love how the app keeps us updated and you get a theme of the week and a snapshot of what your little one has been up to. The staff work so hard and are always super friendly and helpful no matter how busy they are I really do have so much to thank them for. My little boy talks about how much he likes them all so much I’m so grateful for the amazing start to the education they have given him I’ll be so sad when he has to leave to go to school in September.
