Welcome to Winchmore Hill House, a beautiful new nursery that has a home from home feel.

There are big rooms set out as the following: 3 months - 2 years, 2 years - 3 years and 3 years - 5 years old. There is also a separate sleep room available for the babies with beautiful sleep beds as well as cots.

In all rooms there is wooden equipment and toys to support all areas of development as well as a lovely garden space to support the child's physical development.

All meals are made on site from breakfast, snacks, lunch and tea, providing varied options for all dietary requirements. Children in toddlers and pre-school support with setting up the tables, pouring their own drinks as well as self serving their meals.

The nursery is open 51 weeks of the year and only closes on bank holidays.

I love this nursery truly. Its my second child that I bring here and I'm so happy with their journey there. The staff is truly lovely and now feel like family. Both my kids like everyone there and are attached to their key person. Its very clean place, and do everyday activities with the kids to support
their development. One of my kids is a picky eater but I should say was because at the nursery with their meals he eats everything now, even home. Routine is the best thing. All in all I recommend this nursery.

My daughter been with the nursery for a short time and I can see how happy she is there. She loves the time in the nursery as they do lots of activities. Even though its been a short time I can see big changes in my daughter. I also liked the cleanliness and how organised everything is around the rooms.

I couldn't be happier with Winchmore Hill House Nursery. The manager, with all the staff, does an excellent job, is very caring and passionate about all the children's educational and personal development. It's over a year since my daughter has been there and she has learnt a lot while playing happily
with her friends, thanks to the amazing teachers who create everyday lovely activities there. I strongly recommend this nursery!

From the first visit, my daughter and myself fell in love with the environment. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. my daughter didn't want to leave after the visit was over and couldn't wait to fully start. My daughter wakes up everyday eager and ready for school and comes home very cheerful
telling all she did at nursery. I'm glad my child has a warm environment she can be herself at.

Can't even begin to explain how wonderful this nursery is! The staff are so lovely and caring and we really feel our little one is in good hands.
The settling in process was gentle and comforting which is just what we needed.

This nursery has been amazing. My daughter has SEN needs, which has been met with amazing support from the staff. Every single one of them have been absolutely incredible with her. My daughter came to this nursery non-verbal and barley imitating words. Within 7 months, she sings more and attempts more
words & her confidence around other children has skyrocketed and she's become more & more engaged! Thank you to EVERYONE at Winchmore Hill House.

A lovely nursery with fantastic staff who are dedicated to caring for and nurturing the children. The nursery manager, is amazing, always supportive and approachable, making both parents and children feel at ease. The nursery itself is on the smaller side, which I love, as it makes the transition of
leaving your baby much less daunting.
My child is very happy here, I feel completely confident that she's well looked after, which is the most important thing for any parent. The staff who work directly with the children are outstanding, I cannot praise them enough for their dedication and warmth.
One area for improvement is management not present on-site, I have experienced a couple of issues in this regard. However, this does not take away from the exceptional care provided by the nursery team present daily, which really is the most important factor. Overall, I would highly recommend the Nursery to any parent looking for a nurturing and supportive environment for their little one!

The nursery is very well run and my son has a great time whenever he is there. The staff are very helpful and have lots of engaging activities for the children which really help with their development. There is lots of space and equipment so the children have lots of options as to what they want to
do. The nursery also uses an app which parents can log into and see what their child has done through the day (naps, feeds, games etc).

I was quite nervous about my son starting at nursery for the first time, but from the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly helpful and supportive. The manager was so reassuring and really put my mind at ease. She took the time to answer all my questions and explain how everything works, which
made me feel much more comfortable about leaving my son in their care. The baby room leader was absolutely wonderful with my son. He warmed up to her so quickly, and I could see how patient and kind she was with him. It's not easy for him to settle in new environments, but thanks to the baby room leader's warmth and attention, he adapted much faster than I expected. The entire team at Winchmore Hill House has made what could have been a stressful experience much smoother, and I'm so grateful for their care and professionalism. I feel confident leaving my son in such a nurturing environment!

My little boy started at this nursery when he was a baby. He's doing really well in the Toddlers room now. The staff are really nice and welcome everyone warmly. The manager is excellent to everyone and I would recommend this nursery to everyone.

I settled my daughter into her new nursery at the end of July. The staff in the nursery are so friendly and made me feel welcome and relaxed. My daughter settled in straight away and that made me happy to see because she doesn't go to anyone she doesn't know. They have lots of toys in the nursery and
the nursery itself is very clean and I like that the garden is so big and amazing to see.

My child loves the preschool group. He is excited to go every morning and I love seeing him learn new things, I can see that he has learnt to speak English (he is not a native speaker) and he likes to play with other kids. I love that the staff is always welcoming and I feel that they care for my son.
They always give feedback on his day plus I like that there are regular updates on the app.

We recently enrolled our 3-year-old into this nursery and have not regretted it. The staff are very kind and helped our little one settle very quickly with no problems. He often comes home with stories about new friends and mentions certain teachers fondly by name.
Being a smaller nursery than we've
used before, I appreciate the focus and attentiveness my child receives and am glad that he is able to have the quiet time and space he needs when the environment gets a little noisy.
Admin (invoicing, onboarding) is very efficient and organised with clear processes and key contacts from the start.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2025

I have always been deeply passionate about childcare. I began my professional journey by completing my NNEB qualification and then pursued a Degree in Early Childhood Studies to further enhance my knowledge and skills. Over the past 27 years of experience in the childcare sector, I have developed a particular interest in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), which inspired me to complete a Level 4 Diploma in SEND.


Throughout my career, I have taken great pride in observing and supporting children as they grow and develop, guiding them along their individual learning paths, fostering their independence, and helping to shape their character. In my role as a Manager, I find great fulfilment in mentoring and supporting my team, encouraging the development of their skills and knowledge across various areas of the childcare sector.


I am eager to contribute to and be part of a collaborative team where we can continue to grow, support one another, and achieve shared success.
