Set in the heart of the village, Willaston Preschool and Out-of-School Club offers a welcoming space where children can play, explore, and grow with confidence. The preschool, set within Willaston Memorial Hall, provides high-quality early years education for children aged 2 - 4 years, while the out-of-school club, based at Willaston C of E Primary School, extends care for children up to 11 years old.

Activities are thoughtfully planned around each child’s individual interests and stage of development, helping them build essential skills and confidence for their next steps into school and beyond.
The caring, experienced team works closely with families, sharing each child’s progress and celebrating achievements together. Many members of staff work across both sites, ensuring continuity of care and strong relationships that help children feel happy and secure.
The preschool enjoys close links with Willaston C of E Primary School and the wider village community, including regular visits to local amenities. These connections help children feel part of their community and ensure a smooth, confident transition into Reception when the time comes.

Our son has been attending S4YC Willaston Preschool since September 2025, and we cannot thank the team enough for everything they have done for him. In the last 12 months he has come on in leaps and bounds, growing in confidence, independence and readiness for primary school. We only wish we had...
Our son has been attending S4YC Willaston Preschool since September 2025, and we cannot thank the team enough for everything they have done for him. In the last 12 months he has come on in leaps and bounds, growing in confidence, independence and readiness for primary school. We only wish we had enrolled him sooner. Nicola, Sheila and the team have been incredible. Their caring, patient and supportive approach, combined with learning through play, has helped our son thrive and prepared him for his next big milestone. They have taken the time to understand him as an individual, encouraging his strengths while building his confidence in new areas.
We will genuinely miss the team when he moves on to primary school. Mondays and Tuesdays were his favourite days of the week, thanks to the outstanding care and dedication shown by everyone at S4YC Willaston Preschool. Thank you for giving him such a fantastic start to his education.

The staff are always friendly and professional. Our son loves going every day, which is obviously a great comfort to us as parents.

We have had the odd occasion of having to entrust the staff with our child's medication, and it was handled brilliantly.
