Pumpkin Patch Nursery Worthing (Crescent Road)

Both my grandchildren started this week at Pumpkin Patch although my granddaughter did start before for a couple of sessions before having to move into temporary accommodation. She was welcomed back with her brother starting with her, I'm always updated with photos and what the group has been up to using the app. Also I'm going to their open day on Saturday, both the grandchildren I know are very happy and enjoy their time at the nursery. Also I know that they are well looked after by the staff and engaged.

He tells us who his friends are and what he has been doing and how much he enjoys going, especially to the beach. The staff engage the children in many activities and are teaching them so many different ways to communicate, be kind, to play together, share and enjoy themselves. Our grandson is very happy and we are too that he goes to Pumpkin Patch. Thank you to all the staff for the care which you give to all the children.

I get she is always happily playing. The food is outstanding. I’m so happy I sent her here and I recommend it to anyone who is thinking of placing their child here.

Lovely nursery, the staff are all really friendly and caring. They were brilliant at communicating and reassuring me when my son started there in March 2023. He settled in quickly and loves it there now. The spaces are really well thought out and there's always something fun going on!

My son has recently moved here from another local nursery and the settle-in/move has been seamless. He is happy, excited and engaged during drop of and pick up. The daily updates are regular and specific to your child, it’s great having photos to see him happy and see what he is up to. The nursery seems calm and educational but fun and engaging at the same time. Our son has taken a liking to a member of staff in the baby room and another member of staff too. We are really impressed with the level of care.

I am so happy with my daughter coming to this nursery. Best decision me and my family made.

Our 2-year-old daughter started at Pumpkin Patch Nursery in March and doesn't even look back when we drop her off. She's often persuaded to at least give us a wave! The provision is outstanding and based around children's interests. I feel that not only does my daughter enjoy going to nursery but is being moved on in terms of what she is learning. She comes home singing new songs and is able to tell me what she did when I remind her with pictures. She adores the staff and it's 50/50 as to whether I get called 'Mum' or the name of her key worker, which shows a good relationship. The communication is brilliant and I feel the staff know my daughter well. We are over the moon with Pumpkin Patch!

It is an amazing place with such friendly staff. As a first timer to the nursery, I was really worried about my kid. But the wonderful staff made it an easy journey for me and my child. He just loves to be in Pumpkin Patch Nursery.

We have been thrilled with everything at Pumpkin Patch. The staff are so warm and welcoming and they make an effort to get to know each child individually. They support development and keep parents well informed of how their child is getting on throughout their time there. We could not be happier with the service provided and our daughter loves going there.

Amazing nursery. My son has been so happy here since he started in March. The staff have been so accommodating and aiding his learning as his time is split between two nurseries. Cannot recommend all at Pumpkin Patch Nursery enough!

The staff are amazing and attentive, the activities the children do are explorative and inspiring and follow their own personal interests. We can’t recommend this nursery enough!

Daughter started in April in Kindergarten. I get regular updates of experiences during the day and messages of how she is when she's gone in unsettled. Her development is supported through play with open ended resources along with the focused experiences provided, both in the room, outdoors and in their atelier. As a curious girl and a thinker and doer, the child centred and self directed approach they have is perfect for her, as her learning is extended in the moment. The children's voices are both heard and valued and this is reflected in the observations the staff make and in what my daughter tells me. The environment is beautiful and the children are involved in developing this, growing sunflowers and vegetables in the garden. The knowledgeable staff and Management are all friendly and welcoming in their approach and teaching and have been able to clarify any queries I've had. Happy daughter, very happy Mummy. Thank you! We cannot rate Pumpkin Patch Nursery highly enough - our daughter has really thrived since joining the kindergarten at Pumpkin Patch when it opened this year. The staff clearly have a wealth of experience and truly care about what they do, going above and beyond to nurture children in a creative and loving environment. There is a great balance of outdoor, exploratory play and creative sessions inside. We love how much time is centred around interpreting familiar stories and carrying their ideas through to art and play. It is also clear our daughter receives the one-to-one time she needs sometimes and TLC from the lovely nursery team. We also receive lovely updates daily about what the whole kindergarten are getting up to, as well as personal observations.

Our daughter started in the baby and toddler room at the end of March. We had looked at some other nurseries in the area, but this nursery impressed us a lot. It took a little time for our daughter to settle, but all the staff have been so welcoming and patient with her and now she is much more settled and happy. The environment is so calm and nurturing for little ones and the staff are all very friendly and approachable giving really nice regular updates. We look forward to seeing her grow as she progresses through the nursery. Thank you so much for all you do to keep our little one happy and safe!

The list of fantastic things about this nursery is very long but right at the top are the wonderful people that work there. They are all so kind and genuinely care for the children. The nursery itself is lovely and has a real calmness about it, and the communication is brilliant throughout the day. My daughter has absolutely loved it here from day one and leans in, arms outstretched, to be taken in at the door every morning! The icing on the cake is the wonderful drop off and pick up system they have on their driveway which really takes the stress out of those parts of the day.

Our two-year-old son started here in April and is absolutely loving it, so are we! The nursery feels very calm and secure and has great spaces to move around in. It just has a lovely vibe and great interaction with the kids with lots of dedicated attention. There is a lovely atelier upstairs where they take small groups of kids in for focused activities. Exceeded expectations. Thanks all!

My son recently moved from another nursery to Pumpkin Patch Nursery and we were worried it would take him a while to settle as had been our previous experience. We were however delighted to see him settle so well and so quickly, we feel this is largely due to the warm, calm, stimulating and fun environment created by all the Pumpkin Patch staff, who we have found to be extremely responsive, reassuring and genuinely appearing to enjoy and care for the children in their care. Our son appears excited to attend his days at nursery and smiles and points to the door on arrival, we can't thank the staff enough for their care and efforts.

This has been my son's first week within the setting, the transition has been amazing. Staff are so lovely and very supportive, meeting each one of my son's needs. There has been no tears as yet so it is evident that he's one happy, thriving little boy! The communication between staff and families is brilliant, always being updated with pics to represent what's been said. I love it here and my son does too. Thank you for everything so far
