Roundabouts Day Nursery is set in the heart of the village of Shavington. The nursery’s homely feel is created through their cosy environments, family approach and their warm, welcoming staff team. Environments at Roundabouts Day Nursery are unique to each age group and having individual rooms allows children to explore, learn and grow at the rate and stage appropriate to them, both indoors and outdoors. The nursery has two all weather outdoor play areas that children have access to daily. With children at the centre of all that they do, Roundabouts Day Nursery endeavour to provide impeccable care and education to children and have a robust curriculum in place to support this along with a highly skilled and qualified team of staff.

Roundabouts Nursery is a lovely, cosy and friendly nursery. My niece has made huge progress and clearly enjoys her time here; she has made some lovely bonds with the staff and looks very happy when I see her playing. The staff are always very happy and helpful and have a keen interest in my niece's

Both my grandchildren have attended the nursery, the youngest has just left for school. Over the last 8 years I have seen the support they have given to both of the children, as well as my daughter who is single parent. They have always been on hand to answer questions and provide support when needed.
As a Nana I enjoy attending the stay and plays that happen as well as having access to the nursery app so I can see what the children have been getting up to. I have always found staff pleasant and the setting clean.

My daughter has attended Roundabouts since the age of 7 months old. From day one the staff worked to create a strong bond with her, and she's always excited to go to nursery talking about her friends and teachers! We're very happy with the standard of food she's served; she always has second helpings

We're very happy with this nursery. Staff are always friendly and you can tell they take a genuine interest in your child and their development. The most important thing is our son is clearly enjoying going and is always happy in the pictures we are sent.

Our little boy started at Roundabouts Shavington in June 2025, it has made returning to work so much easier knowing that he is having such a wonderful time. The ladies in the baby room have been amazing, they know how to greet him, settle him and engage him. All the staff greet him with a smile. We
receive photos and updates as to how he's getting on through the day which is excellent. We feel as though we couldn't have picked a better nursery for him, I know that there is focused learning for him in terms of developing his communication and social skills as he grows.

My brother's child attends this nursery and has always raved about it. I now pick my nephew up once a week and have always been greeted with the friendliest staff. The security when I picked up for the first time, and they didn't know me, really impressed me, and I felt my nephew was really safe there.
He's always telling me about everything he's done that day, and it's always something different and exciting for him.

Our son has started at Roundabouts at the start of this month, and all the staff have been amazing. He had many settling-in sessions in August, in the lead-up, and everyone was so friendly and comforting towards our son when he got upset. 2 weeks in, and he's so excited to go and no more tears! Our daughter absolutely adores Roundabouts and is visibly excited when we park up outside. Staff are friendly, caring and personable.
We recieve regular updates from staff throughout the day and enjoy seeing photos of the activities.
Food is varied and freshly prepared on site.
We've found Roundabouts
to be a welcoming, nurturing setting and we are so happy to have chosen here.

My son has been at roundabouts for just over a year, starting in babies, moving to toddlers and has just started in rising 2's. He absolutely loves going ot nursery! We are always greeted with a smile as all the staff are so lovely. The app is a great way to keep in contact and regular updates are given
throughout the day. Theres always different activities for him to enjoy everyday which we can see from the photos given on the app.

Our daughter has been going to Roundabouts Day Nursery since she was 14 months old back in 2023. Since then she has come on leaps and bounds with her development and it's all thanks to the wonderful staff at Roundabouts. They all take the time to get to know our daughter and treat her like an individual.
Every day there is new and exciting activities out which are tailored around the children's interests to help keep them engaged. We love looking on the app and getting updates on what our daughter has eaten, slept, nappies etc. and we get to see pictures of her having lots of fun with her friends. The food menu is very varied and snacks are nutritious. We'd recommend Roundabouts to everyone and can't wait for our second daughter to join baby room in January.

My daughter has been attending Roundabouts Nursery since she was 9 months old, and I can't speak highly enough of the care and support she's received. From the very beginning, the staff have been nothing short of amazing-always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely invested in her wellbeing.
Her development
has come on in leaps and bounds during her time at the nursery. It's been incredible to watch her grow in confidence, communication, and independence, all thanks to the nurturing environment Roundabouts provides.
The team go above and beyond every day. Nothing is ever too much to ask, and it's clear they truly care about each child. My daughter has built strong, loving relationships with all the staff, which speaks volumes about the consistency and warmth of their approach.

My son who is now 6 and daughter age 2 have both attended roundabouts and our experience has been nothing short of outstanding throughout. The nursery staff exceed their roles daily and create strong personal relationships with the children, parents and families. I feel completely reassured and comfortable
leaving my children in the care of the nursery and confident in the service they receive. As a parent I have been massively supported by the nursery and included in my children’s journeys, the developmental benefit of my children attending from a young age (approximately 1 years old) is very noticeable and has quickly improved many aspects of their learning and progression which is recorded by the nursery and accessible for parents. Nothing is too much to ask and we are very grateful to roundabouts for being such a big part in our lives and leaving the memories and positive experience they have, which will always be remembered.

This nursery has been absolutely wonderful for our grandson. They have really cared for him. He loves going there. They feed him healthy and nutritious food (which he eats because everyone else does). Brilliant! And they do not use screens which I also super appreciate. I personally don't want him being
sat in front of a screen at this stage in his life. He comes back singing new songs and constantly using new words that I'm often quite impressed with.
I have met the owner of the nursery, she is lovely and I can tell that her own very high standards are put into the care of the children in her nursery.
The nursery staff are well chosen and are all lovely. A definite family feel to the place. I wouldn't send my grandson anywhere else.
Calm, organised, clean, purposeful, warm and caring is how I would describe this nursery.

Excellent nursery!
Staff are really friendly and helpful. My daughter has been attending since she was one and loves going; she even asks on her days off to go. There are lots of different activities for the children to do each week, including moo music. I would highly recommend.

My daughter only attends Roundabouts Day Nursery for one day per week but despite this, I feel the staff in her room all know her incredibly well. The support they offer within the setting is amazing. There are updates on the app throughout the day so I know when she’s been fed, changed, had a nap etc.
and you always get a really good handover at the end of the day. My daughter loves coming to nursery and is always happy to be handed over. The facilities are lovely, well looked after and well rotated. The staff are so positive and supportive, especially when it comes to additional needs, and the Senco is supportive and positive which is really welcomed as a parent. I cannot recommend Roundabouts Shavington enough.

Excellent nursery. Staff are great, very knowledgeable and attentive to the children. My daughter has been attending since she was nine months old, and I have always felt that she is safe, looked after and happy. Meals provided are varied and interesting. If I have ever raised a concern, it has been
addressed quickly and has been dealt with seriously, even if I felt it was something minor. The setting is expensive but not above market value. I would say it is of good value when compared to other settings in the area, considering the facilities, staff, level of care and quality of what they do with them.

Emily joined Roundabouts in May 2021 and has a wealth of experience from working in Management roles in other nursery settings and a real passion and enthusiasm for Early Years.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2019

Katie has been part of the Roundabouts team for over 8 years, beginning her journey with us as a student on placement whilst completing her Level 3 certificate in 2017, and has recently enrolled on her Level 5 qualification to further her career development.


She has worked across all rooms and within different roles before recently being promoted to Nursery manager.


Katie is also our designated Safeguarding Lead for the Nursery as well as the SENDCO.

Faith has been part of the Roundabouts team since February 2024, beginning her journey with us at our Nantwich Nursery, and has recently moved to our Shavington Nursery as a Deputy Manager.


She has spent over 20 years working in childcare across all ages and brings with her a wealth of knowledge.


Faith works full-time in our preschool room as the senior lead and is also our Deputy Safeguarding Lead for the Nursery.

Job Title: Assistant Deputy Manager Joined: 2023

Chloe joined Roundabouts in July 2023 and became our Assistant Deputy Manager in February 2025 after demonstrating an excellent passion for early years. She holds a level 3 early years qualification and is also the senior in our Toddler room.  


Chloe is the designated Health and Safety Officer for the Nursery.
