The Lordshill setting is handily positioned near to the Sainsburys roundabout on the way in to Southampton from North Baddesley/Romsey on one of the main commuter roads for west and central Southampton, including the Southampton General Hospital.

Formerly a Children's home the setting has a 'homely' feel.

There is an extremely large garden which is used everyday, whatever the weather.

The Nursery has been open for 10 years and takes children from 3 months to 5 years and runs all year. Over 3,000 parents have been served by Tiny Toes in that time.

Following the EYFS for children it also incorporates 'my happy minds' into everyday activities which supports and develops each child's emotional and physical resilience, so essential for modern life.

The senior management team have decades of qualified childcare - please check the website to meet the team members.

The Tiny Toes in-house chef prepares freshly cooked meals each day and all allergies and intolerances are catered for. Religious food preferences are also respected.

The Nursery offers 15% NHS/Bluelight discount and the parent relations manager, can discuss all the ( sometimes confusing) Government funding options with new parents.

My baby girl started at tiny toes in September of this year and I was so apprehensive about leaving her only being nine months old.
I have to say I could not be happier with the care love and attention that every member of staff gives to each child. this placed me at ease and I could not recommend
this nursery enough. I tell everybody about how content she is and all of the staff that are so happy friendly and welcoming.
The activities that the children do are amazing and nothing like I would be able to provide at home if you're considering this nursery I would strongly suggest going viewing it as I know you would fall in love just like I did

We absolutely love Tiny Toes, our son is thriving in his class and it's amazing seeing how much all the staff love him. Every member of staff is friendly, say hello in the corridor and many will call our son by name even though they aren't in his class.
We are kept updated on how much food and sleep
he's had and are called straight away if he's poorly.

This is our second child to attend Tiny Toes Lordshill. Our eldest was here eight years ago in the older rooms, and it's wonderful to see that the nursery is still offering the same high standard of care.
From our first enquiry about childcare right through to the first day, the experience has been
excellent. The staff consistently go above and beyond - always friendly, supportive, and willing to answer any question, big or small.
The only area that could be improved is the recording on the app, as we're occasionally unsure whether water or a second bottle has been given.
The food options are varied and encourage children to try a diverse range of flavours.
Overall, the care is exceptional, and the flexible hours are ideal for busy working parents. I would highly recommend Tiny Toes to any family.

When I wanted to book and extra ad-hoc morning in addition to our regular hours due to a dentist appointment the staff were only too happy to help. It was a really simple and easy process. Would do this again if needed.

Since our child started in 2024, we and they have loved it there. The rooms and staff have been brilliant, they have a big range of resources and the staff have fantastic ideas for learning and developing the children. Their creativity has no bounds and we are always amazed at the different and exciting
ways they engage the children on every topic. The staff genuinely care for the safety and wellbeing of my child as well as the management having high expectations of health, safety and development of all children. We have experienced many nurseries over the years with another child also and Tiny Toes has been the best by far in all aspects.

My child has been going to tiny toes since she was 10 months old , she has made her way though the room is the nursery and has loved every room , she has a good relationship with all the staff , the staff are always happy to see her in the morning and ask if she has been ok and a hand over about what
is has been doing in person or by the app, my child loves talking about what is has been doing in the day and what food she has had in that day , she loves going in to nursery and pick fruit from the fruit basket in reception on her way in / out

Tiny Toes Day Nursery Lordshill is a great nursery!
The management team truly sets the tone, they're always so positive, approachable, and genuinely interested in every child's wellbeing and development. It's clear they know each child as an individual, and that personal touch makes such a difference.
What
stands out most is how supportive they are, not just with the children but with parents too. They're always ready to listen, offer guidance, and celebrate the children!
It's always reassuring that my child comes home happy and having had a fun day while I have to work!
The whole environment is warm, welcoming and full of life.

I'm very happy with Tiny Toes in Lordshill. The staff are incredibly caring and attentive, always making sure the children feel safe and comfortable. Communication with the team is excellent - they keep me updated every day about my son's progress and activities.
My little boy is new to the nursery
and doesn't speak yet, but the girls have been so supportive and understanding, helping him settle in with patience and kindness. I can truly see that he is well cared for and happy there. I fully recommend Tiny Toes to any parent looking for a loving and professional nursery environment. Huge thank you .

Our son went to Tiny Toes once a week for a good few months. Overall he had a very good experience with the girls, he enjoyed his time and the one-to-one attention he had from some of the girls was tremendous and we really appreciated that. Our son wasn't too sure leaving mummy in the mornings but two
staff members in particular were a great help with him giving him the support he needed. He was always smiley leaving and thoroughly enjoyed his time there.

My child is safe and absolutely loves going to nursery. The staff are super Friendly. There are lots of activity's and things for her to do. She loves playing outside with everyone (not just from her room). She eats a variety of things that we wouldn't normally give at home. They do loads of activity's
that fit in with current events, like Chinese new year, easter, Christmas etc. Lots of messy play too!
The app is great however sometimes we don't get updates of what my daughter is doing during the day. And not everything is uploaded on the app(what she's eaten, nappy changes, toilet trips).


Overall though it's an amazing nursery and I will also be sending my son there too.

My name is Leanne Murrey, and I have over 15 years of experience working in Early Years. I began my journey in childcare by completing a Level 3 apprenticeship, which sparked my passion for supporting young children in their development.


As my interest and knowledge grew, I went on to complete further qualifications, including:


· Level 2 in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
· Level 2 in Supporting Children with Challenging Behaviour
· Level 5 in Early Years Education and Management


I’m now proudly working towards achieving my Level 6 qualification in Early Years alongside a course in Child Psychology, as I’m always looking to deepen my understanding of how children learn and grow.

Hi I’m Kate, the Deputy Manager at Tiny Toes Day Nursery, Lordshill, where I started in January 2025. My journey in childcare began over 20 years ago when I completed my Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education. Since then, working with children has been a significant part of my life, and I have embraced each challenge with enthusiasm. I truly believe that every child is unique, and supporting their development is both a privilege and a joy.
