Little Life Nursery is beautifully located within Aldenham Country Park, offering a unique setting surrounded by nature. It was founded with the aim of creating an ideal environment where children can grow physically, emotionally, and intellectually while developing a lasting connection with the natural world.

The nursery’s environment is thoughtfully designed to support children’s developmental needs and inspire a lifelong appreciation for nature.

Each day begins with a wholesome breakfast, followed by a range of engaging, nature-based activities such as tree climbing, helping with the animal farm, yoga, forest games, and more.

My son loves attending Little Life nursery. The staff are lovely and very accommodating of children's needs, understanding that they're different for each individual. I like that it's not so stringent that a child has to fit into a box. The amount of outdoor time is also wonderful with access to the
farm, woods, lake, and adventure playground. The communication from the nursery is great, and I feel very supported and safe leaving my child there.

I'm extremely happy to have my children attending this nursery. The staff is very supportive, really care about children having a great experience every day. I am also grateful for being able to send my children to a nursery where learning is related so much to real life and the connection with nature
is so strong.

My daughter has been with the nursery for 6 months and I have seen such a positive impact on her. She has made such significant progress with her ability to learn. She is constantly using the skills she learns at nursery in her everyday life. I love that the nursery takes the children outside everyday
in any weather. I can't recommend them enough - all the staff truly care for the children and have such a wonderful rapport.

My daughter has settled into the nursery really well and genuinely looks forward to going in each day. The staff have been lovely and welcoming, and I can see she's built strong bonds with a few of them already. Like any new environment, it took a little time at the beginning, but the team were patient
and reassuring both with her and with us as parents. There's a good balance of play and learning, and she always comes home talking about something new. No place is perfect, but what really stands out here is how much they care and how comfortable she feels being there.

Such a wonderful nursery - a beautiful setting with lots of opportunity for the children to spend time outside. My son absolutely loves it here. The class sizes are small enough that the children all know each other and the teachers can get to know all the kids really well. The meals are healthy (vegetarian)
and the days are well structured with lots of focus on outside time and nature.

I moved my daughter from a previous nursery setting to Little Life after seeing what the nursery had to offer. All of the staff made the transition between nurseries very smooth for both me and my daughter. Since joining Little Life in April 2025, my daughter has come on leaps and bounds, she is learning
so many new things, things I wouldn't have even thought about teaching her at only 3 years old. We have gone from a little girl who was glued to her mummy to a little girl who goes into nursery and comes home so happy and with so many things to tell us about her day. They do so many different activities each day and lots of outdoor play which is ideal for a child like mine. Her appetite has massively improved since joining Little Life and day by day, her independence is growing, in not even 2 months, I can already tell that moving her to Little Life was the best thing for her.

We've been with the nursery for half a year now and we're very pleased. My son has grown to really enjoy coming here and always talks fondly of all teachers. They take time to understand each child's personality and take approach that suits their development the best while doing fun activities alongside
it. You can tell it's beeing run by professionals who knows how to handle little children and get the most out of them. My son had shown improvements in his physical but also emotional development using his teachers as examples. They are also supportive of any queries I have about handling any difficulties and support us while tackling them. We also love the surroundings and the fact that children spent time outside in the nature.

Our 4 year old has strong relationships with the staff and other children. Members of the community care for one another in a truly impressive way - the children obviously following the model set for them by the adults. She is known, respected and loved. She thoroughly enjoys her time at nursery and
happily reenacts its routines in her play at home. She looks forward to seeing the staff and children again after a holiday.
The physical environment is idyllic. The wider environment is well used, such as frequent visits to the farm. We feel that as an independent nursery, rather than part of a big chain, they use that opportunity to craft a unique experience.

We feel really lucky that we could enroll our daughter in this nursery! The teachers were so kind and patient with our daughter, as she acclimated to nursery for the first time. I love that the time they spent outside was in actual nature (and not just plastic turf). I appreciated the effort the teachers
put into planning a cute theme for each week and special holidays. The classroom setting was very calm and I think the mix of ages was really beneficial to my 2 year olds development. They were also really accommodating of my daughter's food sensitivities and specialty diet items.

The nursery is in an idyllic country park so the kids go to the farm, the adventure playground, the reservoir and the woods every day, spending a good chunk of their day outdoors where they should be at that age! Little Life staff are warm and nurturing and provide a stable, fun environment for all
the kids where they learn in nature and indoors. Couldn't recommend enough!

My son is very attached to me (he never allows me to leave him at Sunday school or play group), however, he settled in very quickly at the nursery. I believe it’s the care and support given by the staff that helps him settle in. He enjoys the outdoor experience, particularly visiting the farm.

I was a bit worried about my grandson starting nursery at first. The settling-in arrangement by the nursery was well planned and he got settled in approximately 2 weeks which was a great relief for us. The nursery is in the country park and is close to a farm and an adventure playground which my grandson
likes so much. He talked about his activities in the playground and farm with us when he returned home. I can tell he really enjoys the time while he is away from home. The staff are very caring and pay good attention to his needs.

My son has had a difficult time, being born during COVID Lockdown, he did not get to see or hear as many family members as I would have liked. He was very attached to both myself and his mum.
I honesly thought he would never let go of either of our hands. We were locked in our homes during the first
six months of his life and his social skills have been affected. After starting his placement at the Little Life Nursery, my son has made such improvements, I would not have believed possible unless I saw it with my own eyes. The Little Life Nursery has made such a difference, not only socially, but my son's confidence has soared over the past few months. The care and attention he has received is evident, he comes home singing songs, telling us about his new friends and talking about his day. It is the perfect setting for him as he loves outdoors and the farm which gives him a great introduction to animals and nature.


I would highly recommend bringing your child to this lovely gem of a nursery!

I am so glad I stumbled upon this amazing nursery, we just happened to pass by on a day out in the park and immediately enquired as it ticked all the boxes in what we were looking for. As we found out more about the nursery, the activities, the resources, and the experienced staff, we were immediately
impressed and were lucky enough to get a place for our son to join. Having looked at a few nurseries prior to this, we hadn't found anything that we were fully comfortable with until we found Little Life Nursery. Our son loves going here, he talks about it every day and even asks to go in on his days off! He surprised us by how quickly he settled in, which I feel is a true testament to the lovely staff, and now runs in happily without a backwards glance. I couldn't wish for anything more. A truly brilliant nursery, in the most perfect setting, I recommend it to any parent looking for an all-round setting for their child.

This nursery is proving how amazing they are day by day. This is how it started: We were in Aldenham Country Park when we noticed the open day for this nursery. I was thrilled to learn about their teaching approach and was amazed by their various outdoor activities and the beautiful green scenery. They
have an accessible playground just outside the fence and they offer activities like yoga and small walks in the bushy area surrounding the nursery. Very nature adapted and feels nice for my son to be in such an atmosphere. I spoke to the nursery manager, she was informative and knowledgeable. My son started and he couldn't stop talking about "koko" the lamp! Very good start as a nursery. Thank you team! keep striving for the best!

Little Life Nursery is a wonderful nursery set in the beautiful surroundings of Aldenham Country Park. The children have access to the farm, lake and 100-acre wood. Every day is a big adventure. The staff are nurturing, engaging and always there to help. All members of staff show respect and care towards
my child and I know he is well looked after whilst in their care. All activities are carefully thought out and put into place to support each child's next step/learning outcomes. My child is given healthy meals and the nursery is very clean. Little Life Nursery ticks all the boxes for me and my son, and he is extremely happy and settled very quickly. He has good relationships with staff/children and always has lots to tell me about when I pick him up. This nursery is a pure gem!

My son started here recently and I couldn't recommend this place enough. He has learnt so much in the past few months it blows my mind. The staff are extremely lovely, friendly and so loving with the children. The place is also very neat and hygienic with so many high-quality modern materials for the
children to use. He loves going to nursery and requests to go, it's one of his favourite places to be. The farm is so exciting for the kids and he learns so much and enjoys being outdoors. The manager is so lovely. They send us regular updates which I love seeing. The yoga is also amazing I see my son doing it at home and it highly regulates his emotions. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough and I feel so pleased and at ease to have found such a beautiful environment for my son to be in.

There is no better nursery in the area like this nursery! Very clean and hygienic (I spent almost five hours with my son inside the nursery). The team is very much experienced and friendly and keeps you informed and updated on a daily basis via their app. They have fascinating activities all nature-based
and productive. I loved the yoga sessions, it calms my son and reflects on his attitude. Their food is tasty and freshly made daily (my son asks for their food at home). Small setting, my son is getting the full attention and care needed. If I want to sum up my experience with this nursery I would say "Amazing!" they literally ticked all the boxes.
