Seahorse Nursery - Park House Day, is a friendly day care setting offering 28 places for children aged from 3 months to 5 years.

With a focus on learning through play, the team at Seahorse Nursery endeavour to provide endless opportunities for children to play, learn and explore, enhancing their socialisation and communication skills, promoting their independence and confidence and developing all those key skills during their early years.

Inside, the nursery is light and bright with different areas dedicated to children of different ages. There is also a secure outdoors space.

Seahorse Nursery has been a wonderful place for both our children. Our eldest, thrived during her time there - supported by a genuinely caring and attentive team who went above and beyond to understand her personality and needs. The level of individual care from the practitioners is truly outstanding.
It's clear they take time to build meaningful bonds with each child, creating a nurturing, safe and happy environment.


The variety of external activities on offer is also excellent - from French lessons to tennis sessions - all thoughtfully chosen to help the children grow in confidence and curiosity.


We've been equally pleased to see our second child now enjoying her time at Seahorse just as much. The team have created something really special here - a place where children are not only well looked after, but positively flourish. We're incredibly grateful.

Seahorse Nursery Park House is an amazing childcare setting. The staff are dedicated and genuinely care for the children, the nursery itself is well maintained with a lovely outdoor space, space set up for different activities and kept clean, tidy and welcoming. The children take part in a variety of
activities including baking, sensory, letters and numbers, French, music, tennis and take part in weekly forest school and regular outings into the local community. Also focus areas on things like colour of the week, teeth cleaning etc. Updates from staff are regular, detailed and also take the form of a photo journal you can look at during the day.
My daughter joined the nursery 3 years ago and will be leaving to start reception. Seahorse has helped equip her with the confidence, social skills and knowledge to be very well prepared for this transition. We will miss the nursery and could not have asked for a better nursery and pre school experience.

My child has been at Seahorse Parkhouse since she was 11months old and honestly we couldn't be happier. We went to visit other nurseries but the Seahorse staff by far were the friendliest, most competent and you can really tell they really care about the children. My daughter is allergic to many foods
but Seahorse put my mind at ease, reassuring me with care plan and procedures they had. The biggest plus is that they do so many fun & unique activities from being in nature everyday, bringing in animals, sensory classes, cultural celebrations, meditation and yoga! They also host useful events for the parents from first aid to nutrition. The curriculum is well thought out and varied, blending Montessori, Forrest school and even Makaton sign language, really supporting the children's progression. They understand that parents can get anxious and have actively started a WhatsApp group for parents, so you feel a sense of community. They are an exceptional nursery and we're sad to leave them!

I have two children at Seahorse, and it is such a wonderful place for little ones. The staff are warm and caring, and go out of their way to create a nurturing environment for children to thrive. The curriculum is engaging and exciting, with enriching weekly activities like yoga, music, mindfulness,
forest school, and tennis. Special events, like Mother's Day breakfast, have been a lovely way to connect with my children in their environment. The atmosphere is always so vibrant and full of joy. It's a very special place, and I always feel reassured knowing my children are so well cared for and genuinely happy.

Park House is a great environment for our boys. Full of warmth and fun and exploration, the team here go above and beyond to make the children feel safe and secure and loved. Many parents use the team for babysitting duties when they can which I think is testament to how loved they are and how much
they invest deeply in the children's well being.
The nursery and brilliant for development of children's educational capabilities, balancing fun and comfort with challenge and responsibility. Our boys have learned so much here. Would highly recommend.

Our daughter started at Seahorse Nursery - Park House in November when she was 9 months old. The team have been really supportive in helping her settle in and have been great at keeping me updated during her days there. I feel confident this is the right setting for my daughter as all the team are very
nurturing and the nursery offers a variety of activities for the children to help them develop and keep them engaged whilst maintaining a structure to the day. The children also spend a good amount of time outdoors whether that is playing in the garden or a trip to the park to see the ducks. Our daughter has a really good relationship with her key worker who has shown to know her well, which gives me further reassurance during her time there.

Our 3.5-year-old son has now been at the nursery for about 8 months and both he and we love it. The staff in the preschool room are exceptional; they really take time to get to know each child and focus on their individual development. Each day there is a proper handover letting us know what our son
did that day and anything particular we should be aware of. The range of activities on offer is fantastic; we've loved how structured each week is (weekly activities include forest school, tennis, baking and 'music man'). There has also been an impressive range of 'extra' activities from sports day and the Mother's Day class performance through to a class theatre trip. There is a real focus on learning and education, and the fact that there is a dedicated Education Officer was one of the things that we felt made Seahorse stand out from other nurseries. Management are great - really communicative and organised. Would 100% recommend Seahorse Parkhouse!

Our son (4) has been attending Seahorse for 3 years and our daughter (22 months) for 9 months and they both adore their nursery. As parents, we've been really happy since our son first started and there was never any question of our daughter going anywhere else. The staff are absolutely fantastic and
go above and beyond for the children, taking time to really understand their individual characters and helping them develop. The range of activities are really impressive and well structured around clearly set developmental objectives, and they spend a lot of time outdoors, both on-site and on trips to local parks. The management team are in regular contact with parents and are always quick to respond to any questions or issues.

Our daughter (21 months) started at Seahorses Park House after Easter and has settled in so well. She attends the nursery full-time. She’s very happy to see all the familiar and friendly faces in the morning at drop-off. The feedback in the afternoon is timely and detailed with photos on the app. Nice
to see what they’ve been up to in “real-time”. Activities are well organised and range from cooking, yoga to outings to the park! We are so grateful for the fantastic staff who look after her during the day. Thank you for everything you do at Seahorses!

My son (age 3.5) and daughter (age 1.5) have been at Seahorse full-time for 6 months and love the nursery. They are both happy going into nursery each morning and are excited to see familiar faces in their rooms when they arrive. The nursery staff looking after the children are engaged and really care
for the children. The nursery management is organised and there is good communication with parents. The range of activities and opportunities offered to the children is fantastic (forest school, tennis lessons, French lessons, weekly music class, listening walks, park visits etc.) and the educational side is well-structured and varied. The nursery space is clean, bright and the toys are in good condition. My children are thriving at the nursery and I couldn't recommend it more!

Our daughter has been at Seahorse for nearly 3 years and our son for 5 months. It is a wonderfully supportive environment and we couldn’t be happier with the care that our children receive. They’re welcomed by familiar, smiling faces every day. The staff are professional, and genuinely care for the
kids and it really shows. They learn through play and engage in such a broad range of activities, especially in the pre-school (forest school, French, tennis, music!). We’re particularly grateful for how much time they spend outside both on little walks and in the garden.

My daughter has been at Seahorse for 2.5 years. We couldn't be happier with our experience there. She has always been happy and the staff members seem to go above and beyond to make children feel confident and cared for. Park House is a lovely venue and the extra-curricular activities, such as forest

My son had a brilliant time at Seahorse Park House. The staff are lovely, caring and have really brought my son out of his shell and helped nurture a love and interest in learning, ready for school. He also made great friends. The extra activities such as tennis, music and a morning of forest school
are great.
My daughter has started in the baby room (Starfish) and settled so well thanks to the amazing nursery workers, who are very caring and make time at nursery so fun. The space is light with lots of engaging toys and activities.

Hi - I'm the Principal of Seahorse Nursery. I’m the person who is responsible for making sure all our children are learning, happy and safe while in our care. I grew up in Southfields living above the original term time setting and have been teaching in Early Years since 2012. Before moving into Early Years full time I worked for the Home Office in London and the European Parliament in Brussels. I studied at Kingston University for my Early Years Teacher Qualification and more recently studied at the Said Business School at Oxford University through a Goldman Sachs small business programme. I live locally in Southfields and have two children. My main responsibilities are teaching and learning, day-to-day operations, recruitment and safeguarding. I look forward to welcoming you to Seahorse!

She received her degree in BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Education from the University of Roehampton and continues to take part in training every year on a range of different topics and is especially knowledgeable in Safeguarding, SEN and Health and Safety Practice.


Carly is involved in all aspects of nursery life, and although she is primarily office-based, you can also find her in the classroom, helping with meal times, and getting involved in a wide variety of activities and parent events.

I started with Seahorse Nursery in 2018 where I had the opportunity to develop my career further in becoming a Manager and gaining my Level 3 in SENCo.
Since starting at Seahorse Nursery, I have become a mum of two little girls who have been a part of Seahorse Nursery.
I have my Level 5 in Childcare and Management, I continue to have the opportunity to progress in my career and looking forward to what the future brings.
