Muddy Boots Nursery (Wilberfoss)

A wonderful nursery for which I would reccomend to friends / family. Staff are all so welcoming and always in happy moods with so much energy it feels a very safe place to leave our child. We love all the activities there are set up in each room and the access the children have to the large outdoor space again full of a variety of toys including mud kitchens , tough trays, climbing zones is brilliant. My little boy always comes home happy full and tired - thank you !

Archie absolutely loves Muddy Boots Wilberfoss. He has been attending now for 18 months and he has settled in with no problem. Having just moved to the pre-school room, the girls in the room made him feel so welcome and although the first week was a bit daunting for him, by week 3 he was excited when I told him he was going to nursery.

He loves the constant outdoor play, whatever the weather. I can 100% recommend Muddy Boots Nursery.

I have sent three of my children here so far and they have all loved it! We have used the adventure and the trailblazer rooms, the staff all seem great very hands on and happy to help. Will be sending my next child here!

Both of my boys absolutely love coming to the nursery and it's exactly what they need in terms of getting their energy out in a healthy way both physically and mentally. Particular shout out to Emma and Natalie in the adventurers room, both my boys have found them comforting when they're having their wobbles and have put me at ease that they're being well cared for! Also a shout out to Tia in trailblazers, she always takes an interest in Arthur and shows enthusiasm to help him learn and grow in particular with his speech! She's also really helped him finally stay out of Nappies and encouraged toileting!

I'm so happy with the whole process and truly grateful to the staff for making what could have been a difficult transition feel so easy and positive for both my son and me.

My youngest has only been in a couple of weeks and done a couple of sessions but already feels comfortable at drop off to go into the room and loves exploring all the different toys and sensory options in Discoverers! They are always wanting to know what you've been up to so they can talk about the kids' outside lives in the nursery setting which helps with their learning. I would definitely recommend Muddy Boots wilberfoss!

My son has been here for almost 2 years now. We joined Muddyboots after loving how much outdoor space they have and the ability to access this the majority of the time. They help all the team have given with his development milestones has been fantastic he is starting school in September and we are so sad to be leaving. The team really apply a 'normal' approach to everything rather than being over the top on restrictions and I really feel like they adjust everything to fit the individual children

We have been using Muddy Boots for our children since 2026 and despite the fact it is a 25 minute drive from home, plus it is now in the opposite direction for both mine and my partner's work, we continue to send our children there as I could not bear to see them anywhere else. Our son O loves it there and has done so in every room. He has developed a close relationship with all of his key workers and still loves it when his previous key workers come into the Trailblazers room to cover. Our daughter started in Discoverers a few months ago and has settled in so well which has been lovely to see. She appears happy and contented there and everyone is so attentive to her that it is evident that they care so much for each individual child. Sultan has a special place in O's heart and I know he is secretly jealous that she is moving to discoverers and will be spending more time with his sister!

D learns so much at nursery he is always coming home with new words and rhymes. He is always happy to go to nursery and very rarely upset when we leave. He sometimes does not want to come home! He loves his key worker Georgia and mentions her name lots at home.

My son R absolutely adores Helen he was saying her name as one of his first 5 words and he only goes twice a week. The relationship Helen has created with R is amazing considering he was completely adamant he did not want to go to nursery in the beginning as he has never left us before. At pick up he's happy to see mum or dad but full of blowing kisses to his key worker which makes us so happy.

Its lovely to feel the level of trust i do with the people looking after your children. I am so pleased we are at Muddy boots Wilberfoss and feel very fortunate to have such an amazing setting for my children.
