Jack In The Box Nursery - Hempnall

My daughter started the little learners room in April this year, as all parents are, we were anxious for this step and spent a long time looking for the right nursery for her, she was a little younger then most when she started which brought me more anxiety's but I can truly say I am so happy we chose Jack In The Box, all the staff I have come into contact with have been friendly, reassuring and kind to my daughter, to me and my partner. We are so happy, my daughter has already come on so much since starting and she only goes one day a week! Personally I've only really spoken to one lady who has been amazing with our little girl, others have also been fantastic. Sorry if I'm missing anyone! But special thanks to these three. Only wish the app was updated with more pictures, however I understand it's as and when they have time.

Jack in the box is a first rate day nursery. All the staff are passionate about the children and they provide a safe learning environment. The activities and timetable really enhance each child's potential. I would have no hesitation in recommending jack in the box to anybody with children of the appropriate age. As a result of attending Jack in the box I know that our son will be ready for school with all the tools, patience, learning and fun attitude he has gained from attending.

My boy has just finished nursery before starting school in September. He has been at Jack In The Box for over 3 years. The recipes that went on here are I feel quite skewed. Most reviews are from before the nursery was taken over in September 2023. The nursery deserved its outstanding rating however since the takeover the nursery has gone downhill as then shown by a recent Ofsted inspection with a good rating. I don't know a single member of staff of the 30 who is still there (the cook has just left!). There used to be a good ratio of staff to children now it seems the minimum levels as provided. The app is provided with a couple of pictures, often with the same activity and a very brief overview. My child didn't seem to feel as stretched as they used to. If he wasn't going to school in September I would have moved him to a different setting. Most staff seem to be young and starting their childcare with very few experienced people there. I would rate this nursery as good at best.

I can not recommend this nursery enough, I wouldn't have my child go anywhere else!

Both of my children have/are attending Jack In The Box Nursery - Hempnall and I can't fault it. The staff are all amazing, the thought that goes into all the activities and children's well-being and development is second to none. The nursery is welcoming and my children have loved their time here and it is certainly the best preparation ahead of starting school.

Having a shy anxious daughter we were always worried where to send her where she would be happy but we have never had any issues with Jack In The Box Nursery - Hempnall. All of the girls that work there are so welcoming and tailor the children’s day to suit their needs. They make the children feel loved and I never worry that my children won’t feel safe and happy at drop off (even if they go in sad). I highly recommend this nursery.

Lovely little nursery, our daughter loves going to this nursery and loves the staff that care for her. She has thrived since attending, we saw instant development benefits in all aspects of her life from social skills to speech etc and this has only continued during her time there. Regular communications from the nursery to parents as well as updates as to what your child does in during their sessions.

Excellent nursery setting, very engaged and supportive staff. My daughter has attended for almost 2 years now and I have been very pleased with how she has been supported and her development. The staff know her well and we get regular updates on her activities and progress. She has always enjoyed nursery and is keen to attend. I would recommend to anyone.

We are so pleased with Jack in the Box. Both of our boys attend and have really good relationships with their key workers. Our eldest absolutely loves his time at nursery! We are always kept up to date with any changes etc. Great nursery!

Can’t fault the place or the people over the last year.

Excellent nursery! My little one has thrived here. Lovely kind and caring staff. Meals are varied and healthy. Garden is stunning for the little ones to play in, and the rooms are filled with lots of zones to spark the children’s imagination. Great that the nursery is open until 6pm!
