Orton Longueville Playgroup

Both of my boys have attended Orton Longueville Playgroup, with my youngest still there, and they have absolutely loved it. They've had so much fun and I've really seen them come on in confidence, independence and social skills.

I love the free-flow environment and the huge variety of activities the children get to experience. From forest sessions to visits to local care homes, there is always something exciting and meaningful for them to do, and no two days are ever the same.

The staff are so caring and supportive, and it's clear how much they genuinely care about the children. I couldn't have wished for a better start to their early years and would highly recommend Orton Longueville Playgroup to any family looking for a fun, nurturing and engaging setting.

A fantastic setting with great indoor and outdoor space. My little girl has learnt so much and they've really helped her start to catch up on a few areas she's behind on. Staff are professional, friendly and clearly great with the kids. All the children are happy at drop off and pick up and they have great activities come in to the setting to have sessions with the kids. I couldn't be happier with my choice

Our Daughter has attended here for 2 years now, and this Playgroup has been exceptional. Our Daughter arrived, struggling with speech, controlling her emotions, socializing and being confident as well as many other things. She is leaving the complete opposite, ready for School. We honestly couldn't recommend this place enough, the care and effort they put in every day is exceptional!!! If you are considering this Playgroup please do not hesitate.

My son has been going to Orton Longueville Playgroup since September and has come such a long way since then. He is nonverbal and suspected to be autistic and he gets distressed when taken to new, unknown places so I was worried about him starting but the staff there were wonderful at putting my mind at ease. They talked me through all of the things they can put in place to help support him and they also explained they could be quite flexible in terms of his stay there at the start, depending on how he reacts. But he took to it really well and now we have absolutely no issues with him going in. I feel happy that my son is being well looked after here and that he is also being supported to progress and improve his skills.

The nursery offers a variety of engaging activities that help children learn, grow, and develop new skills while having fun. The play area is excellent-spacious, clean, and well-equipped with plenty of opportunities for both indoor and outdoor play.

The staff are incredibly caring, friendly, and always available to answer any questions, making us feel truly supported. We would wholeheartedly recommend Orton Longueville Playgroup to any family looking for a warm and nurturing setting for their child.

I would really recommend this playgroup, it encourages the children to be independent but in a safe environment and the outdoor space is incredible, just be aware the kids love the sandpit so you will find sand at home when you take their shoes off. I also love the 2-way communication which is great and all managed on an easy-to-use app, the highlight of my day is going through the photos at the end of the day with my child.

My son didn’t enjoy attending a childcare setting until we discovered this playground. My son has so much fun when he attends, and the activities are great and educational. The space is amazing, with lots of outdoor activities too. The staff are all amazing and have really helped my son manage his emotions with targeting setting, patience and a calming influence. I couldn’t recommend this playgroup enough. This playgroup is a 20 minutes drive from my house but is worth the travel, and I’m hoping to send my youngest son here too when he is old enough.

Absolutely worth every penny.

My child recently joined Orton Longueville Playgroup, and I’m so happy with how quickly he has settled in. He was always a little reluctant to attend his last setting, but he’s so happy to go into Orton Longueville Playgroup. The staff are great at keeping parents informed about what is going on during the day, which is much appreciated. My child is excited to tell me about what he’s been doing during the day, and it’s nice to be able to ask him about specific activities that I can see he’s been doing.

Orton Longueville Playgroup is a true gem in the world of early childhood education. From the moment we enrolled our child, we were blown away by the outstanding experience they provide. It's a preschool that truly goes above and beyond, leaving a lasting impression on both children and parents alike. Highly recommended for an exceptional start to your child's educational journey!

Amazing nursery. Fantastic staff and cannot fault the time and effort they put into the children. My child has benefited from being there and has come such a long way in development since October. Overall perfect for his needs.

A wonderful place where children have so much fun. My daughter asks to go every day. The staff are all lovely; they genuinely care about the children and are happy to join in with the children’s games and activities. We often see pictures of them with their faces painted or hair styled by the children. The variety of activities they do is amazing, and they are child-led, so often buy new equipment in response to requests from children. As well as great indoor facilities, including a soft play room, they have a fantastic outside space, which the children have free-flow access to in all weathers. Communication with the staff is great, with daily updates on the app so you can see what the children have been up to.

I'm so pleased that we chose Orton Longueville Playgroup, and I will tell anyone who listens!

Amazing playgroup with brilliant staff. It has a massive outside play area, inside has sensor room, a kitchen where kids can learn and bake, and different areas for lego, painting and story corners. My child is going in every day and is always happy!

I absolutely could not be happier with the playgroup, and I wouldn’t send my child anywhere else. I signed my second child up when I was still pregnant, as I was so pleased with them! Every member of staff is excellent, and they are all absolutely amazing with the children. My son is developmentally delayed, so I had a lot of concerns and worries, but he has made incredible progress during his time there. I can’t fault them in the slightest, they are all dedicated, and the resources at the playgroup are fantastic. My son has never had a bad day and always comes home with a smile on his face. I recommend the playgroup to everyone I meet!
