Rising Stars Day Nursery Markyate

Both my daughters attend Rising Stars Day Nursery in Markyate and they absolutely love it there. Staff are lovely and accommodating always keep you up to date with your child’s activities. They have been very helpful if I have needed to add on extra days at short notice and with both my daughter's potty training. I can’t rate this nursery enough.

Where do we start! My daughter started here in February 2023, and it has been the best thing for her! She has come on in leaps and bounds with her speaking and her confidence! Thanks to the staff for always encouraging her and praising her and my daughter being with other children helped her grow her confidence, they always send a detailed review on what she has done throughout the day with pictures and what she has eaten! They also spend time outdoors, learning about the world, the planes, the animals, and this is all detailed in her report and gives us a great insight into her day. The staff are very accommodating to the needs of each child and really get to know the family and child personally, the chef there is also 10 out of 10, my daughter has a milk allergy and they cater to her need extremely well with a wide variety of food every week for her to try! I honestly couldn’t recommend this nursery enough! They are the best in the business! Thank you!

An outstanding nursery that truly has made our daughter feel welcome, included and safe. Our daughter had come from a previous nursery, where she was not looked after and Rising Stars Day Nursery Markyate has given her a new confidence to start again. The nursery focuses on child initiated play whilst following the national curriculum for learning. In our fairly short time joining the nursery, we have already been invited to parent's evening, sports day and more. If you are looking for a nursery that will love, teach and help your child grow then I couldn’t recommend Rising Stars anymore.

My little one has settled in wonderfully at this nursery, I get regular day accounts via the app and she seems to really get stuck into all the activities. She is also getting to try a variety of food that I may not cook at home helping to diversify her palette. The staff are very friendly and immediately put you at ease that you are leaving your child in their capable hands.

My daughter started here in February and I could not be happier. The team are absolutely amazing and is always accommodating to my daughter, who had trouble settling in. Very supportive of me and my husband when we had any concerns. My daughter loves this nursery and I am so happy we picked it!

I can not begin to explain how happy I am that my daughter attends Rising Stars Markyate. The love and care they show her each and every time she is there is exceptional and that can be seen by the smile on her face when we collect her. The app used is efficient and always updated so we know exactly what she has done that day, what she has eaten, how she has slept. The opportunity to play outside daily come rain or shine is another reason we chose this setting. The children are taught skills like helping tidy their plates after food and sign language. Every member of staff knows our daughter even if they don’t work directly with her and it just shows the care and interest they have for all of the children in their setting. Having been at a nursery before this one and having to remove my daughter due to lack of care, I can not recommend Rising Stars enough! Thank you!

Our son has just started at Rising Stars Day Nursery Markyate and we have been so pleased with the effort staff have gone to make him feel welcome and settled. It has been 3 weeks now and we are so pleased with how settled he is. The app they use is also great for getting updates.

Rising Stars has been great for my son. He is very settled and happy there. The staff have been great and always nice. I feel he learns a lot and the app that keeps you up to date daily is fantastic. I would definitely recommend them as a nursery.

My daughter absolutely loves going to this nursery which is one of the most important things to me and I must mention that the deputy manager is absolutely amazing and is a massive asset to Rising Stars Day Nursery.

My daughter has been going to Rising Stars since they first opened. We are so happy with the overall care she gets from the whole team and we think the team there are wonderful! We can tell our daughter is very happy and always so keen to run through the doors! We would recommend this nursery 100%.

My son has been attending this nursery for most of a year now and has developed very strong bonds with the staff. He has so much fun there and is very well looked after. He is also deaf and the staff work hard to make him feel included, for example by using sign language and teaching everyone 'signs of the week'. This is very much appreciated and has definitely helped him develop confidence and language skills. I highly recommend Rising Stars!

My daughter has been attending here three and a half days a week for nearly a year now and absolutely loves it. Always tells me what a great day she has had and always comes running out with a big smile on her face. We talk about all the teachers and all of her friends at home nearly every day! She loves all of the staff and in my dealings with them, they have been nothing but lovely and professional. My daughter enjoys the food there and she has come leaps and bounds in her speech and general learning. They have even spearheaded potty training her and we are nearly done after just three weeks! Would recommend them to friends and family!

My child has learnt so many different things here, different subjects, words, and sentences. They have helped with toileting. Their food is lovely, different each day and healthy. The staff are very friendly, trustworthy and helpful. My child loves each and every staff here and also loves being at this nursery, I will be putting my future children here also.

I can't thank the team enough for taking such good care of them and for the growth my children have made.

A very caring nursery with lovely staff. They have gone above and beyond to ensure our deaf son is settled and fully integrated in the setting. They are supporting his language development brilliantly and have started learning British Sign Language and incorporating a sign of the week into the curriculum for all children. We would recommend Rising Stars Day Nursery Markyate very highly to anyone looking for a local nursery.

My little boy started here back in October and I was really conscious about him settling into a new environment, as I went back to work. The nursery were really accommodating with organising a phased introduction and gave me a complete run down each day I picked him up, as he settled in and within a week, he was comfortable enough to nap there! The staff are so friendly and loving towards the children and they really cater to each and every child's needs. Now my son beams with delight at drop off and reaches out to be cuddled by the staff on arrival and even at just 12 months old, he has come on leaps and bounds with his social skills, eating and gross motor skills, since being there. I can't speak highly enough of the nursery and I love getting the breakdown of his day on the app every day, to see what fun he's had and how well he's eaten and napped.
