Fennies Kidbrooke, Whittle Road

My daughter attended Fennies Kidbrooke from 12 months old to now (she is nearly 3 years old) sadly we moved so we had to leave Fennies. I'm very sad because it's an amazing nursery. The staff are so attentive, caring & professional. The management team are so approachable and helpful. I feel my daughter has had such a great start in life from attending Fennies. She has grown so much and has learnt not only developmentally but also emotionally. I will always think fondly of my daughters time at Fennies Kidbrooke

My daughter child joined in March and the nursery has been amazing. The environment is clean and inviting. The staff are wonderful, have great skills with the children including innovative engaging tasks for them to undertake daily. Also they are flexible when settling in and that has been a godsend. The meals provided are great and I've seen such a positive change with my little one. Regular updates and photos are provided which is reassurance in the early days and lovely to see what they are up to and their development. Would recommend to anyone!

Great nursery and considering we have had our kid there from the age of 10 months up until now at age 2 and have not had any complaints i have nothing bad to say. Thank you to all the team and if you need a nursery for your little one then defo look here first.

Fennies has been a huge part of our and our daughters lives.Our daughter wakes up saying nursery everyday she's been there since she was 9 months old. Initial days were a bit hard for both of us as she was crying a lot to settle but after setting it's been a blessing. The activities they do to entertain the kids, the food menu, the staff and everything. The only point they can improve on is maybe a more frequent change of nappies but other than that no points to make. Lovely nursery and you can see all the staff love working there and really are bonded with the children and the children absolutely love the nursery.

As someone with a Dutch background, I had exceptionally high standards when it came to finding the right nursery for our son. Having grown up around Nordic-style nurseries ( think home furniture shop cleanliness/ open warm spaces) , I value outdoor learning, independence, and a clean, calm environment that encourages natural curiosity and real-life skills. After visiting over 50 nurseries across London - with no fixed location in mind as we were moving house - we were determined to find the best, and we finally did.

This nursery truly stands out. It offers a warm, nurturing environment paired with a strong focus on outdoor play and experiential learning - exactly the blend we were looking for. Cleanliness and open space were top priorities for us; and both are maintained to the highest standard. It's clear the children are not only well cared for but well taught. My son speaks 4 languages and his English is outstanding at 3 years old. Considering he goes to Dutch and Spanish school too on weekends

Both of mine are really enjoying their experience at the nursery and have really seen their development - all staff are helpful and really engaging and always respond well to any queries. Would recommend to others!

I would highly recommend Fennies Kidbrooke to any parent looking for a warm, nurturing environment for their child. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive, and it's clear they genuinely care about each child's wellbeing.

What I particularly appreciate is their use of natural materials for play, which really encourages creativity and imagination.

My son absolutely loves going to nursery. He always comes home with a smile on his face. We couldn't be happier with the care he's received.

Our daughter joined the nursery a couple of months ago and everything is going really well. Fennies have been flexible with the start date and onboarding schedule. The staff are lovely and seem to genuinely enjoy spending time with the children. They clearly put some efforts in designing fun activities and children go outside in the garden usually twice a day. The food is varied. We enjoy getting updates and photos through the app. Very good experience overall! We wish it was cheaper (obviously)

We started our daughter in the Explorers room in January this year at Fennies Kidbrooke and felt at ease straight away after being shown around the nursery and even more so when settling our daughter. Settling as parents to our first child going to nursery was daunting as i got mum guilt going back to work. We found all staff especially management team and Explorers team they really have made a huge impact in this process being smoother and the way how our daughter has settled into nursery we couldn't ask for more. She loves it, and has built a good relationship with management and Explorers staff and especially her keyworker. We are so happy we chose Fennies and have seen our daughter thrive in all areas of her development and that's help to thanks to all you as well.

The transition period for my daughter from a smaller setting to a bigger one has been met with professionalism, patience and care. I am extremely happy with how the nursery has worked with me to help the development of my daughter; all staff are polite and friendly, and demonstrate such positive energy and enthusiasm.

We couldn't be happier with Fennies in Kidbrooke. Our son started there at 11 months old and loved it from the beginning. He formed a strong bond with his key person very quickly and feels comfortable with the other practitioners too who are all lovely. He spends his days exploring the room, playing independently and sometimes taking part in the frequent group activities, and being exposed to a variety of sensory toys and activities. The garden and sandpit are his favourites and the free flow between inside and outside is great if your little one enjoys being outdoors. While we're still adjusting schedules the nursery have been accommodating with his need for extra naps and bottles. We'll be sad to transfer to another branch in September (the Eltham one closer to us), but know he'll love it regardless which branch he attends as the Fennies approach is so holistic and child centred.

We absolutely love this nursery and can't thank the staff enough for everything they've done for our daughter. Her settling period was super smooth as the staff really took their time to make her feel comfortable. One of the best parts is how excited my daughter gets in the morning as soon as I mention her practitioner's name; her face lights up as she knows we're off to nursery. It's such a relief to know she's in good hands, and so grateful to have found this nursery.

We enrolled our daughter at 10months old to see how she would adjust to a new setting without us before we went back to work and I can say this was the best decision we ever made! Our daughter is now 2 years old and she is thriving at fennies! We have noticed that she has become so independent and intelligent and thats thanks to the nursery! From day 1 they have made us feel comfortable with our decision to leave our daughter in their hands. They are very informative and very organised. We are updated on an app to see what our daughter has ate, when she's been changed, played in the garden etc! I guess the best part and most reassuring part is seeing how happy our daughter is when she arrives at the nursery! Couldn't recommend a more safe and suitable environment for your little one!

The team are amazing! My son loves the place!

The only point I believe could be improved is reporting of the children's activities: while they are very good at keeping us informed of the activities being carried out, sometimes not all children appear in the photographs that come with the updates. It would be nice if they could try to ensure that there is at least one photo of each child in the group updates.

In summary, a firm recommend.

Since my god daughter has been going to Fennies Kidbrooke, I have seen a huge difference in her confidence as well as her independence. I love seeing all the pictures that get uploaded and seeing how her day is. The sandpit in the garden looks amazing and wish I could have one at home. There has been a recent change in management which has taken the nursery to the next level in care and they are always happy to listen to any questions or suggestions that we may have. I have seen a vast improvement over the last few months and I am thankful for the support and care that they have not only show to my god daughter but my family too.
